Review and ratings

Rating: 4/5 Stars Vantage is a 4.5-star community in practice. Since Google does not allow half-stars, I am rounding to a 4 until the package situation is consistently resolved. I have seen recent and continual improvements and appreciate that these issues are being actively addressed. The Good: The building and amenities are modern, clean, and well-maintained. The 5,000 sq. ft. study and conference space is a game-changer for solo work and group projects. Additionally, the maintenance team deserves serious credit. Their responsiveness is uncommon in student housing; I’ve had a lightbulb replaced within hours of **submitting a request while I was in class**. The staff—Selena, Alyssa, Jasmine, and Zay—are standout communicators who have been supportive throughout my initial lease and my transfer to Vantage. I truly appreciate their openness and professionalism. Operational Slack (Improving): Historically, staff "floating" between The View and Vantage led to limited on-site coverage and administrative backlogs. However, the addition of a dedicated Leasing Manager and an extra Leasing Agent at Vantage are welcome upgrades. More designated coverage should materially improve response times and training consistency. Recommendation: Make mailroom organization a defined daily responsibility. Clearer signage for **tower-specific areas** and consistent handling standards would make a noticeable difference in the daily resident experience. There is more than enough unused space on this property to have multiple package rooms. Packages between View and Vantage sometimes get mixed up, and the staff has to sort by hand.** The Verdict: If the package flow is tightened, this is easily a five-star experience. Between the free coffee, the ground-floor CVS/Chase Bank, and being steps away from Five Guys and Cane’s, it remains a very strong place to live on campus. Residents at Vantage also have access to all of the dining options just across the sidewalk at The View! (Old Nelson, CAVA, Quickway Japanese Hibachi, and Chipotle all within the same block!) The final two images are from MeatCanyon. IYKYK. COFFEE! 🤣

Very clean, beautiful decor! Can't wait to be apart of this community!

their awful security gets your food, packages, and groceries stolen. if you don’t run to get your package as soon as it delivers to vantage, it either gets stolen or they put it in a locker and assign the package to the wrong person. if i need to order something now i order to a completely different building because i’ve lost trust after having 3 packages stolen, 2 grocery orders stolen, and 2 packages lost. any concerns are handled when it comes to maintenance on your apartment, but anything else is met with an “i’m not sure” “that’s not our problem” “what’s your name, i’ll email you” (which is never followed up with said email) the leasing office is almost never helpful except for 1 person, and if you miss him you mind as well forget you have an issue. two of the elevators haven’t been working (on and off for 5 months, and completely not working for another 5) and there has been no solution in sight. we were told they were set to be working again april 2026, it is clearly not happening. it is too expensive here for all these problems. also paying over $200 per month more than my roommates even though i’ve lived here longer? the management for this building is VERY unorganized, most of the staff don’t know what is going on/ how to fix any problems really, and they will give you shredded furniture. i will be moving out. i lived here for 2 years before this year and all of these issues started happening the start of fall semester (i got my package stolen for the first time in august and inquired many times, to no avail) and it is so bad, i am moving out after my lease is up. they give great tours but be careful they don’t give the full story.

As this is one of the nicer buildings on campus, I was disappointed that my packages were continuously stolen or missing. I would go to the office about it and would get met with ignorance as nobody seemed to care why my packages were always going missing. Most of the workers are college students who do not care about their job and it’s disappointing to be paying so much per month to not even be able to get my packages. Along with that I had some questionable experiences with maintenance. The building decor is beautiful, but the staff was horrible. For almost 2K a month per person for a two bed One bath is just ridiculous.

The Vantage management team has proven to be extremely inefficient. Me and my roommates woke up to mice in our apartment. We called the leasing office twice, and both times they said they would alert maintenance and that traps would be placed. No one ever came to our apartment. We watched a mouse squeeze in through under our front door and go into our apartment. It's very likely it could have happened to other residents as well, but the management/maintenance team does not seem to care. We have had issues with them our entire time here. Most of the time, when we place a maintenance request, it is never fulfilled. I've never thought of complaining or leaving a bad review because I wanted to give the workers grace and be patient. However, this completely crosses the line. They do not care that there is a literal pest infestation in their building. For the amount of rent I am paying, there is no reason that I should be having problems receiving help from maintenance. Please think twice before living here.
