The Summit at University City, philadelphia-pa

Living at The Summit at University City was hands-down one of the worst decisions I have ever made. For starters the rent is outrageously high for what you actually get. My ceiling above the shower literally fell apart multiple times, and every “fix” was just maintenance dragging in a giant dehumidifier that raised my electric bill and did nothing to solve the real issue. They patched it up just enough for it to fall apart again a few months later. Completely unacceptable. And the staff? Easily some of the most unhelpful and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Any time I needed assistance, it felt like I was inconveniencing them just by asking a basic question. The leasing manager, Nichole, even told me to “never ask her for anything again” after I reached out about a simple concern with my unit. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how this place treats its residents. Do yourself a favor and do not live here. The only perk is being close to campus, and it is absolutely not worth the stress, the poor quality, the constant overcharge in electricity bills, or the lack of support from staff. You can find far better housing with far better people elsewhere. (and to summit staff: Don't even think about commenting some "if you have questions/concerns reach out to us..." on this because I tried the entire 12 months I lived there and no one cared.)

I have my fair share of complaints with how summit is run. Based on policy and management this building would get 3/5. However, Raekwon, Faijon, and Karim in maintenance were awesome and they get a 5/5.

Rudra gave us an apartment tour and hands down, best person ever. He was so jolly and caring. He paid attention to every detail and explained everything in detail. If there’s any way I sign a lease here, it’ll be because of Rudra.

Liana O. was an amazing tour guide and helped so much with the tour. She was very informative and showed every amenity in the building while also explaining other possible room layouts. Very positive and sweet person.
