The Province Boulder, boulder-co

Stopped in after a campus tour with my son and ended up way more impressed than I expected. I’ve been on the fence about off‑campus living, but Kallie completely changed my perspective. She walked us around, pointed out everything that’s within a short walk of campus, and somehow made the whole area feel both convenient and welcoming. Kallie was friendly, knowledgeable, and honestly the reason I now get why my son is so excited about living off campus. Really appreciated the time, the tour, and all the info — she made the decision feel easy. If you’re touring the area, definitely ask for Kallie.

I just wanted to share how happy I am with the Province maintenance team. I always see them working constantly on keeping our home a nice place to live. They have answered all my work requests in a timely manner. And are always very polite. The other day my cat got out. And Arlo was able to catch her before she got away. Thanks Arlo! And thank you Taylor Dom and Miguel. You have made my stay here an unforgettable experience. And I will definitely recommend the Province to my friends and Family.

We loved our tour of The Province Boulder from Ella! She did a fabulous job sharing what a wonderful experience she’s had living there. The facility is top notch and the views are amazing!

Don't live here. I have waited to write this review, but an experience that happened to me tonight set me over the edge and I had to warn anyone that was looking to live here. When we first moved in, the staff claimed they were "working hard preparing units" and when my roommates and I moved in, we were SHOCKED. There were suspicious hairs in my bathroom, stains on the carpet, gunk in the showers, the list goes on. I understand dorms being a little musty, but apartments that you are paying $1600+ for should be clean upon move in. I pay my rent via paper checks. Every month without fail, I am contacted with either a message or late fees saying I did not pay my rent. I have to continually fight the messages and fees every month. Never an apology or explanation. Everyone seems confused all the time, even the manager. The way they threaten tenants to resign leases should not be allowed. They posted the lease renewals and I am not exaggerating, 2 hours later bumped the price up $25. Then, 2 hours after that, they bumped it up another $25, threatening to keep bumping it up and to sign as soon as possible. Mind you, I was in labs and class all day so I did not get a chance to look at the lease until after all of the price increases. When I contacted the manager about this in person and expressed stress and frustration, he got visibly irritated and told me there was nothing he could do and that I should sign immediately to get the cheapest price they were offering. This was to stay in my current unit. They bumped the price to resign our lease up by $150 not even 5 hours after sending out the leases. Half the time the manager is supposed to be in the office he is "at lunch with his girlfriend". He really is no help and uses intimidation and stress to have people panic and sign leases. And now, they can't even fill spaces. The hallways are gross and never cleaned. The "secure entry" into the hallway I live in is broken. They don't care. Our keys will randomly deactivate. I was locked out of my apartment for 2 hours because it randomly deactivated after hours. When I expressed my frustration about this, the front desk girl told me that I should have called emergency maintenance (something that is not advertised by the way) and they could have let me in. She then proceeded to tell me that that would result in a $75 charge to my account. FOR AN ERROR ON THEIR END. They also forgot to deactivate lost keys for our apartment so anyone could have gotten in if they had a key. This also caused our other keys to not work and so only one of us could get into the apartment while they "worked on it" for a week. The front desk workers clearly have a lack of training and also are very short tempered when you express concern about something. I understand that they deal with a lot, and considering the management, I can understand that they may be a bit confused. The thing that sent me over to write this review is an experience I had when I contacted the on-call maintenance number. The lights and outlets in my room suddenly stopped working, so I called the on call support number for help. As a college student with no experience with electrical systems, I was simply looking for guidance. The person who answered sounded immediately irritated. When he told me to check the breaker, I asked a few questions because I do not know how breakers work. Instead of explaining, he became frustrated and passive aggressive, sighing and saying, “You don’t see the switches right in front of you?” When I calmly said I was doing my best with the information given and mentioned he seemed frustrated, he threatened to end the call. I pay a significant amount to live here and for maintenance support, and being treated like an inconvenience when asking for help is unacceptable and unprofessional. Do not pay the astronomical rent price to live here. It is not well kept, the staff is rude and the management is horrible. For most of the residents here, it is our first time living on our own. They take advantage of that and are rude and do not value our comfort or safety.

Chloe was my tour guide and she was so sweet and friendly and very informative about the property! I absolutely love this apartment. The facility was so clean and the view of the mountains were absolutely breathtaking!!!
