I originally deleted my previous negative review after management apologized and reimbursed me for a lost package. Unfortunately, the same management and customer service issues continued, so I feel it's important to share my experience. For almost a year, only one elevator was operating in an 18-floor building. Even though that elevator frequently malfunctioned, it would get stuck, or the floor buttons would stop responding, causing long waits and making it unreliable for residents. The laundry room was another constant issue. Throughout the entire year I lived here, about two-thirds of the washers were out of service, leaving only 4–5 working machines for the entire building. Finding an available washer was frustrating and often required waiting. The fire alarm also went off repeatedly, including several times around 2–3 AM, forcing everyone to evacuate the building in the middle of the night. I also experienced a major system error during my unit transfer. My portal showed rent charges for two different floorplans, preventing me from making the correct payment. I couldn't move in earlier or even request my key until I went to the leasing office in person. I followed the payment instructions provided by the staff, but almost a year later I was told I still had an outstanding September balance because of an internal misunderstanding. Therefore, I had to pay the full month's rent of nearly 1300 for just 3 days of staying. Package management was another frustrating experience. One of my packages was lost, and despite providing photos and evidence, management initially denied responsibility. It took nearly two weeks of repeated follow-ups before they finally reimbursed me. Overall, the biggest issue was poor management and slow customer service. Almost every problem required multiple emails, in-office visits, and repeated follow-ups before it was addressed. While the location is convenient, the building is poorly managed, and I cannot recommend living here based on my experience.

Genuinely one of the worst places I have ever had the displeasure of living in. The only reason anyone lives here is because Drexel students are forced to live in ACC housing for 2 years. When I first moved in the apartment was filthy and I had to spend hours cleaning. The handle on the microwave was broken, the showers and sinks were all clogged, and there was food buildup on the electric stove. Central heating is turned on with no way to disable it so my room would consistently be 80 degrees even with windows open. The carpeted floor was disgusting, and I doubt it's ever been cleaned. The app that allows you into the building, elevators, and your room malfunctions constantly. My packages would consistently be "lost" by the college kid package staff despite getting confirmation from UPS that packages had arrived with photo evidence. View is awful, and there is loud construction right next to the building starting at 8am. Half of our building was evicted 6 months into their lease because the heating system malfunctioned during the coldest month of the year. Management is incompetent and will not let you break your lease for any reason, despite Drexel students being forced to live here. For what is roughly $5k for a 4-bedroom 2.5-bathroom apartment with minimal square footage, you could find something much better and cheaper in a better area. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Such an amazing apartment building. They do a great job at answering questions and resolving issues as quick as possible. Anytime there is a property event I always look forward to seeing kaitlin. She makes this building so lively and I look forward to the rest of the year!

I absolutely adore Kaitlin, she puts a smile on my face whenever I enter the building, and her kindness never goes unnoticed. She has such a welcoming presence and consistently makes the environment feel more positive and uplifting💗.

Chestnut square offers great amenities and the workers have amazing customer service. I talked with Addison and she had the answer to all my questions and was extremely professional. Very pleased with my experience.
