Although the apartment is very spacious and nice on the inside i advise people to look anywhere else and then have this place as your last option. Packages are constantly getting stolen and most places, besides amazon, don't bother to put the packages inside. The front door to the building is also broken which is an extreme security risk considering the neighborhood is not great. Also the code for the front door picks and chooses when it wants to work so occasionally my guests have been locked out. Management is really the worst part of this property!!! The locks in the apartment frequently malfunction and batteries need to be changed by maintenance constantly. During the winter months is the worst because they constantly short circuit and its almost like a science project to get them to unlock. Lastly the parking situation is probably what makes me mad daily about living here. I pay 200 a month for an outdoor garage that constantly is broken. On days that I work, the garage door has literally opened halfway leaving my car trapped inside the garage and causing me to have to uber to work. People also constantly park in front of the garage door and block it halfway so you have to maneuver your way out every time. Then if you want to call the towing company listed to move the cars it's just a number to a tenant that lives inside the building that parks his car wherever he wants. Additionally, during the winter months you are subjected to ice and snow all over the parking lot that i swear someday someone is going to break a limb trying to get into their apartment or worse, crash their car. ALL IN ALL, IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GREAT EXPERIENCE, DON'T LIVE HERE!!!!!

I lived at the Berks the 21/22 school year and it’s been an amazing experience. The property is nice and our apartment is spacious. It’s also very secure which makes you feel safe. Mike the landlord is super responsive and always there if there is an issue or if we need anything. Maintenance gets issues fixed immediately and are always really nice. Definitely would recommend living here. One of the best off campus places I’ve lived.

I’ve been living at the Berks for a few months now, and I have absolutely nothing bad to say. The apartment is very open and spacious. The property manager Mike is a great guy who is always willing to help if there is any issue. One thing I also really like is the security throughout the building !

My daughter lived at the Berks the 22-23 school year, and it was a great experience. Safe building (including a parking garage) and great location - close to campus. Mark was always very responsive to any questions -- whether about move in/out or questions about the rentcafe portal (for paying rent). I highly recommend The Berks!

This was a nice building to live in, and the apartments were relatively nice. The building is very safe and has cameras everywhere. The biggest drawback for me personally with how thin the walls are if you have loud neighbors, you will hear anything and everything under the sun. It was so bad I had to make multiple noise complaints against them, but nothing changed. If you choose to live here, I would suggest only living in a fourth floor apartment otherwise forget having a good night sleep or any moments of peace and quiet. I bought ear plugs and not even noise canceling headphones can truly block out the noise. I do think the people around me were abnormally loud but if the walls and flooring weren’t so thin I probably could’ve ignored it.
