During the initial move in, I had to drive two hours from home. First time I tried, I arrived before they were supposed to close but, lo and behold, they were closed. Went back home for two hours and, the next day, I called their office endlessly to see if they were open for me to pick up my keys. Eventually, a friend had to go pick them up for me because they DO NOT pick up calls. Thankfully I was able to move in before classes started but not everyone will have that same luck with this property. This was just the beginning of my endless problems with Beech. Overall, they are infuriatingly disorganised. I’m way too emotionally exhausted from all my experiences with them to provide the nitty gritty details but they’ve lost my money TWICE and, in fact, most things that enter their office/buildings will never be seen again; it’s a miracle I was able to get packages at all. They will refuse to answer questions unless the manager is in office (she’s never in the office). The apartments are dark and infested with mold, which is expected to be your responsibility to take care of. Extremely lax security on top of all things. The only redeemable thing about this place is the nice people that sit at the front desk. Beech oughta pay them more. The organisation responsible for this atrocity of a building is in major debt to the city and it’s no wonder why. This place was my last resort and it wasn’t worth it. Avoid at all costs.

this is quite literally the most disorganized, unprofessional place ever. do not waste your time considering Beech as a place to live. mail is always lost, no one is ever in the office, no one is ever answering the phones or responding to maintenance requests. if there is an emergency no one will respond or care. just today i’ve waited for 2+ hours to see literally anyone who is supposed to manage or operate the buildings and have yet to get in contact with anyone. i signed a one-year lease and the management—well lack thereof—is making it the worst year of my life.

EDIT: there’s been a literal squatter above my room for months and building management has done nothing about it. I’ve been hearing footsteps above me since I moved in and the buildings response was that floor is closed off. Well me and roommate have been hearing it every night for months so you tell me. Terrible management. Staff is friendly, but the entire system seems very unorganized. The team clearly lacks a manager. I spent over 2 hours standing in the office during move in waiting for them to "find my key”? Then they said they needed to clean my room? I ended up having to get a new room and sign a new lease. And there were no carts so I had to move in everything by hand in many trips. And the entire time I was hearing the smoke alarm beep sounds it makes when it’s dead coming from like 5 DIFFERENT ROOMS in my hallway??!! What kinda place is this?? I fear for my safety

VERY unorganized office. On the phone you’re always told to call back another day when the manager is in office. In person you wait over two hours just to receive your keys to the apartment. Meanwhile the apartment you’re waiting for is not even clean and they have to change your room due to the unprepared nature of everything. They definitely need more training and better managed schedules because the process of leasing and moving in has been the most aggravating thing that no resident should ever have to deal with!

DO NOT MOVE HERE! Racist and rude staff (RD and RAs) that does not care about anyone but themselves. Most terrible living experience I have ever had. They treat guests horrible. The place is way too expensive for what it offers, a ton of things are broken and do not get fixed upon request, A/C doesn't work right, no light in the bedrooms, lock doesn't work, no printer and no snack or drink machines in the building, repeatedly spiders in the room (and I keep my room perfectly clean), you hear EVERYTHING through the ceiling, my roommate had bedbugs in her space although they're supposed to do a treatment every summer to prevent that. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place!
