Editing to add unit photos/videos after extensive cleaning. 2B/2BA shared. 4 stars. The View at Montgomery is a good value, and the biggest positive has been on-site leadership. The Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor have gone above and beyond, and the front office team has been responsive and solutions-oriented with follow-through on unit concerns. I am not giving 5 stars due to the building’s physical and cosmetic condition and aging fixtures. Some common-area flooring feels worn. In-unit appliances show age. Example: microwave has interior paint chipping and rust, and the door screen/guard appears damaged from prior misuse (scheduled to be replaced). It also does not match the other stainless appliances. Laundry reliability is an opportunity area. New machines were installed, but the laundry vendor has been difficult to reach, and the app setup has repeated glitches, which can make the system unusable. On ADA/accessibility, the labeling can be confusing. Kitchens appear designed with accessibility in mind, but the ADA units I viewed did not include grab bars by default or a built-in/foldable shower seat. This is a building design issue, not a management issue. My bathroom is large with a tub, but the bathing setup still feels awkward from an accessibility standpoint. Finally, office continuity between The View and Vantage could be improved. During application through move-in I spoke with ~7 staff members. Everyone was kind, but handoffs can be frustrating, and I have heard, “I usually work over at Vantage.” Suggestion: keep a senior leasing lead over both, but separate leasing teams by property so residents work with true building experts. Bottom line: strong leadership and good value, with clear upside through reinvestment, laundry consistency, true accessibility execution, and better leasing continuity. Amenity videos from 12/25/2025.

managed and maintained terribly. Less than half of the laundry machines work, we’ve had 1-2 functioning elevators for the last month depending on the day. There has been zero communication from the property about any of these issues, despite reaching out several times. avoid living here at all costs, the “amenities” aren’t worth the agony of living here.

“Great place to live. The building is clean, well maintained, and in a convenient location. Management is responsive and helpful whenever issues come up. The overall environment feels safe and comfortable, and the amenities make daily life easy. I’ve had a really good experience here and would definitely recommend it.

Moving to Philly as an international student for my education was a huge transition, but finding private student housing was made incredibly easy thanks to the amazing staff and support at The View. A very special shoutout goes to Ms. Jenna, who has been exceptionally kind, patient, and supportive from day one. From helping me navigate the rental process without a guarantor over phone calls to making my move-in experience smooth and stress-free, she truly went above and beyond. I’ve also had wonderful interactions with other staff members, all of whom are friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help with positivity and professionalism. Overall, my experience has been nothing short of fantastic!

I had a great time meeting with Zay the book keeper. Very nice change of pace from management around here. If it keeps up I’m sure the ratings will improve! The only reason this review isn’t 5 stars is because the past is not so easily forgotten.
