PLEASE READ IF U WANT TO LIVE HERE! If you are looking for a review as a student on whether to live here and are worried about the other negative reviews here is me and my friends HONEST review after living here for our first year at Uni. Louise house is firstly in the best location. If friends want to visit, if you want to be easily connected to everything in London without having to stress about transport then this is the best Accommodation. It opened so many pathways for me and my friends to be able to get part time jobs locally while studying, and I’ve met so many great people. Louise House (LH) isn’t going to be a new build and you have to accept that, you will be sharing a bathroom and a kitchen and people WILL be messy, but the helpful cleaners are always there and you can go to Roxanna with anything you need always, even if you need a chat (which I do often) The friendships and people I’ve met living at Louise House will be my friends for life and I’m even moving in with them next year. We had the best fun and threw multiple common room party’s, talked for hours in each others rooms and we would all cook and eat together. All my friends who didn’t live at Louise House were always over and always wanted to be here. Louise House has way more freedom over other uni accomodation and that’s what makes it so special. I now have friends from so many London universities! Reading through the other negative reviews ITS IMPORTANT I REITERATE You will get from LH what you want from it!!!! If you go in with an open mindset then at the end of the day the building not being new doesn’t matter as much as you would think! If a newer more modern building is something you prioritise then this accom may not be for you. I’m really sad to leave this place and will always look back on it with the happiest memories 💗 ⭐️MUST: VISIT THE ACCOM BEFOREHAND! I would also like to add that on a first visit there may be some rough sleepers / others scattered around the St James / Westminster area. It can seem unfriendly at night however as a female I have walked down the streets coming home from the club/ going out millions of times alone and with friends and have never been made to feel unsafe by anyone. No one has ever approached us. It’s important to keep an open mind and of course in London always keep your wits about you but the local area is full of amazing people, regardless of their situations. They are often more concerned about themselves than you.

Louise house accommodation has a great location and wonderful & lovely room, distance from Chinatown and Oxford circus only 14mins bus. The manager Roxana who helped me a lot and take care of me all the time, especially with high levels of passion, responsibilities and enthusiasm in any situation which gives me a sense of warmth and happiness. The accommodation has an amazing cleaner who help us to clean the kitchen and common space every week, so it's definitely clean and tidy. Miss this accommodation and best wishes！！！🥰

Great accommodation and lovely staff! Location is really great and safe. Prices are budget-friendly as well, like Standard room at £237 pw. Highly recommending to Students going to Kings College, Westminster or Imperial 😊

I just want to warn potential students that Louise House’s website is very misleading. This is particularly relevant if you are coming from far away and cannot visit before signing the tenancy agreement, like us - don’t rely on what they tell you or the computer-generated photographs on the website. We have had trouble from day 1, and they are good at saying they will do something but almost never do. No security on site, none of the COVID safe practices that are promised on the website, accommodation that is tired and worn. Also bear in mind that they have a constant stream of short term overseas students doing language courses, so you may have many different flatmates over the course of a year. They use multiple agencies between Louise House and the landlord, which makes it hard to make yourself heard if things are not right. We are making a formal complaint through an external ombudsman.

The location of the hall is extremely convenient. The neighbourhood is very nice and it’s situated in central London, close to most of the major universities and main attractions in the city. The common areas of the hall are quite big and available to use and enjoy. It has a spacious common room with coaches and tables, a cinema room with a large screen and a common garden for spring/summer. The rooms have enough space and the shared toilettes and kitchens are usually kept clean (+ there is a cleaner that comes once a week). Finally, I think that the main differential is given by the manager, Roxana. She is available 24/7 for any emergency and she is always willing to help. Moreover, her warmth and kindness makes you feel at home, even if, like me, you have left your hometown thousands of kms away. That humanity and sensitivity is indeed something you want to have if you are traveling to a new city from a foreign country.
