About this property
Living in the city centre changes your university routine more than you might expect. Walking to lectures, meeting friends after class, catching a train home for the weekend, or picking up groceries on the way back all become much simpler when everything is nearby. That's one of the biggest reasons students choose Horizon Heights Liverpool.
Located in Liverpool's Knowledge Quarter, the building sits within walking distance of both the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University. Liverpool Lime Street Station is just around the corner, making it easy to travel across the city or head home during holidays.
Horizon Heights student accommodation Liverpool includes en-suite rooms in shared flats as well as private studios, so you can decide whether you want a more social flat or your own space. Alongside the rooms, you'll find study areas, social spaces and practical facilities that fit naturally into everyday student life rather than feeling like extras you'll rarely use.
Address: Horizon Heights, Skelhorne Street, Liverpool L3 5LX, United Kingdom
The location puts you in the middle of Liverpool's student area. University campuses, Liverpool Lime Street Station, supermarkets, cafés and the city centre are all within walking distance, so most daily journeys take less time than you might expect.
If you're new to Liverpool, this part of the city also makes getting around straightforward. Bus routes, train services and the main shopping streets are all close by, making it easy to settle into a routine without relying on long commutes.
Where you live affects far more than the journey to campus. It shapes how you spend your mornings, where you meet friends and how easily you get around the city during the week.
Walk to University: Both the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University are around a 10-minute walk away. That means fewer early-morning bus journeys and more flexibility between lectures.
Liverpool Lime Street on Your Doorstep: Having the city's main railway station nearby makes a real difference, especially if you travel home regularly or explore other parts of the UK during weekends and university breaks.
Choose the Room That Suits You: Some students enjoy sharing a flat and meeting new people. Others prefer their own kitchen and quieter space. Horizon Heights gives you both options through en-suite rooms and self-contained studios.
Shared Spaces You'll Actually Use: The sky lounge, rooftop terrace, cinema room, games room and study areas give residents somewhere to spend time outside their rooms. During busy weeks, it's useful having different places to study or take a break without leaving the building.
Bills in One Payment: Electricity, heating, water, Wi-Fi and contents insurance all come within the rent, making monthly budgeting much easier.
City Views: The rooftop terrace and 18th-floor sky lounge overlook Liverpool's skyline, with views stretching across the city towards the Wirral and beyond.
Horizon Heights student halls include numerous of room types, from shared en-suite flats to fully self-contained studios. Students looking to keep costs lower usually choose an en-suite room, while studios suit those who prefer more privacy.

If you're looking for accommodation in the centre of town which has a fantastic support team from reception staff to maintenance, security and always available 24/7 unlike other companies with no one on reception at all ! There's a range of prices and the views from the sky lounge are just brilliant. The team go above and beyond to not just sort out building and maintenance problems, but anything welfare related they're just amazing. You won't regret booking here.

My first year university accommodation, one of the best in Liverpool in my opinion. Staff are lovely and maintenance is always friendly and helpful. Slightly on the expensive side, I won’t be staying for second year. However, commodities are great free pool tables, cinema room, study spots and dining room.

I had a fantastic stay here! The accommodation was beautiful and perfectly kept, but it was the staff that truly made the experience special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make me feel at home. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and I can’t wait to come back

I really like living in horizon because of the social environment around it. The lobby is welcoming with music and i like the choice of bringing my uni friends over to the cinema room and have girls nights in the kitchen :)

Just moved my son into Horizon after 6 weeks at Atlantic Point. Absolute luxury compared! Fabulous room location and facilities. Really friendly staff working on reception who made the move work smoothly - thank you very much! X Definitely a great choice for students
