Finding the appropriate student accommodation is often about how you want to live.
Some students like to have their own kitchen and complete privacy; others choose to share communal rooms but not sacrifice the convenience of a private bathroom. Student accommodation in London offers both alternatives; thus it is appropriate for diverse lifestyles and budgets.
Moonraker Point Accommodation is located on Pocock Street, London. It has a central position with a choice of accommodation types, useful services and all-inclusive bills. A number of universities, transport links and everyday utilities are in close proximity, providing a handy base for student life in the capital.
Address: Moonraker Point, Pocock Street, London SE1 0FN, United Kingdom
Living in central London means lectures, grocery shopping and travelling across the city can all become part of the same routine. Moonraker Point is situated in Southwark, placing students within reach of universities, public transport and many of the places they use throughout the academic year.
Students often have different priorities when searching for accommodation.
Some are looking for a private studio where everything is under one roof. Others prefer an en-suite room with shared kitchen facilities and the opportunity to meet new people. Moonraker Point Accommodation caters to both, giving students more choice before deciding where to live.
Unlike houses with one room layout, Moonraker Point offers en-suite lodging and self-contained units.
En-suite rooms have their own bathroom but share a kitchen and living area with other occupants. Studio rooms are totally self-contained with their own kitchen and bedroom, study space and bathroom.
The weekly rent is inclusive of:
Gas
Electricity
Heating
Water
WiFi & Broadband
Home contents insurance
Adding these things will make budgeting easier, and there will be less household expenditure to organise after you move in.
Moonraker Point Student Accommodation offers a wide range of room categories, allowing students to choose a layout that suits both their budget and preferred way of living.
Students choosing an en-suite room have the benefit of a private bathroom while sharing the kitchen and communal living space with other residents.

The room is a good size and feels spacious enough to live comfortably, but one downside is that the lighting isn’t very bright, which can make the space feel a bit dim at times. The staff here are genuinely amazing, especially Rollo and Hamza, who are always friendly, helpful, and quick to support whenever needed. They really make a big difference to the overall experience. From the outside, the building doesn’t look particularly appealing, but the inside and the staff are more than makeup for it.

I had a wonderful experience staying here, and I would especially like to commend Dominique at the student residence front desk. he is always warm, patient, and highly professional. Whether it was handling the check-in process, answering questions, or helping with unexpected issues, he was consistently efficient and friendly. On one occasion, I encountered a small problem and went to the front desk for assistance. Dominique not only explained everything clearly but also proactively contacted the relevant department to follow up for me. He’s support made me feel reassured and truly valued.

Dominique V is really great, efficient and friendly when helping with parcel collection. He also checks residents' IDs carefully to make sure no one picks up the wrong package. Truly responsible and dedicated to his job.

If I can turn back the time, I would have NEVER chosen this residence: 1. Staff/Student Exp TL is not helpful and RUDE (J). The rest might be the same. The lady (Vaishnavi) and the helper (Javier) are nice though. 2. NEVER order online especially in your first weeks - they’re so busy (or LAZY) who will never organize your stuff. You have to find them yourself with the risk of getting lost (see the picture). 3. When they said ‘professionally cleaned’, their standard is 1 out of 10. Expect to get into a dusty and smelly hallway and the room!!! Expect to scrub every single inch of the room. Beware of the curtain - it was so FILTHY, I had to bring it to the laundry before putting them back. The study chair will ruin your back. Carpet has never been cleaned perhaps since 5 years ago or even longer. No vacuum cleaner available so when I finally get one, imagine one full bag of dust and dirt only from 1 round of cleaning. 4. Size of the bathroom is like an airplane’s bathroom. Size of the wardrobe is tiny too, expect extra expense to buy compression bag to keep the winter coat in. 5. The kitchen is even worse. I had to clean up with degreaser solution and it was not even enough. My flatmate had to do the same. Running out of power is common so don’t store perishable food in the fridge. No chair in the kitchen to sit when eating, only sofa that has never been cleaned and equally filthy. 6. Study room and common room is super tiny, nothing else that would keep you enjoying the dorm. 7. The CONSTRUCTION, omg, it will last for the whole year!!!! The noise because window needs to be open when the weather is warm is unavoidable. 8. When you see the video or picture in your uni website, just imagine it is 120x nicer that the reality. I saw prev reviews have been commented by the CS but seeing that no changes meaning any feedback = no action. I didn't have a chance to check it, I wish I did. Seeing is believing.

Good coffee, excellent service and good people. All for good business. Also not that hard to find people who share the same interests, make new friends and just grow as people while here. Its worth the time and money. Definitely worth it!!
