I've lived in Brookside for two years now, i even paid extra and rented over summer. It is a great student halls, better than the university ones on price, and a lot of other halls in the area. Decent sized flats and rooms, in each price range, the area is brilliant too, 24/7 shop over the road, bus stops to university and town seconds away, but the walk to both university and town are about 10-15 minutes each too so great walk. The staff are also amazing, any issues are resolved quickly and professionally, and everyone from the cleaners, grounds men, and office staff are lovely and polite too. Would highly recommend to anyone, from first year uni students, up to post graduates.

I stayed here from last September to June and it was simply the best time of my uni life, the fact that the staff here are simply unmatched reassures me that this place is the best accommodation for students in Derby. I have come to collect my things that i have left over the summer period and the work that is/ has been done is truly remarkable and anyone that is staying here in the near future are in for a treat. once again thank you to the staff for being such nice and genuine people.

My experiences in Brookside were for the most part greatly positive. Staying here for three years was a good experience, especially given the fact that it is in a very convenient location for the price. The room i stayed in (Standard plus) was well worth the money and the Brookside staff have always bee great, friendly and approachable these past three years.

This is my third student accommodation within Derby, and Brookside is by far the most pleasurable. Close to both Town and the University, only 15 minutes walk. The flat layouts not only makes daily life comfortable but efficient for all flat mates. However, it is the staff that tops this review to 5 stars, could never complain with their friendly nature and willingness to always help.
