Update (was 4 stars): During winter, the flat is too cold. The heating turns itself off, the living room and kitchen is 15C. Update 2 (was 1 star): Heating has improved but still was initially handled badly. Based on other reviews, does not seem as good value as the nearby Triumph House by Study Inn. They have TVs in their kitchens and rooms which you don't get here. Reception is only staffed for 5 hours, 10am-12pm and 5pm-8pm. Seven people to a flat. Loads of fridge and freezer and cupboard space, more than we needed. Maintenance requests actioned promptly. Good common areas. Attractive modern buildings and courtyard with covered area. Parcel lockers available and not full. Mail dealt with well. Always washing machines available in the laundry room. Controllable electric heaters in the rooms. Good ensuite rooms with good bathrooms. Unfortunately no bedside table. So that you can access the under-bed storage, the shelves are quite high up. No coat hooks on the doors. Quite expensive. Assistance was provided with moving in which made that a good experience. Even though the website doesn't mention this, we were able to park in the courtyard while moving in. Bin bags are not provided, so it would be nice if they told us what size to buy. The size of the beds in the ensuite rooms is something like "small double", which I don't believe was stated anywhere obvious on the website, and no bedding is provided or offered for purchase. Access to the building and to rooms is by a key fob.

Rooms are nice & comfortable. The social areas are fantastic - spacious, clean, and perfect or hanging out with friends. The study areas are excellent, offering private study/meeting rooms and many silent group study rooms. The staff are incredibly friendly and always happy to help with anything, which makes a huge difference. Our kitchen gets cleaned every month. Staff are around 24 hrs a day. Great value for money.

Unite as a company made no effort to fix any issues that were raised - my flat's kitchen was constantly a mess because of other flatmates and they only even attempted to resolve this a few weeks before the end of my tenancy; any missing or broken appliances that were broken from before my stay remained broken or missing no matter how many times I asked them to do something. The two star rating is due to the staff helpfulness in following up with noise complaints and supporting us how they could, as well as rooms and facilities being fairly decent quality. Nothing exceptional however, would not recommend Unite to a friend.

Its a decent place with well maintained aesthetics. I was happy inspite of the congested kitchen arrangement but the place has become unhygienic since last month. They have placed an open garbage / skips inside the compound which is attracting too many flies and produces foul smell at times. It's a disappointment on that matter. Otherwise,Great staffs who are always helpful and a very safe place to live in though.
