About this property
Finding student accommodation in Nottingham is often about getting the right balance between location, budget and the type of room you want to live in. Some students prefer a shared flat, while others want the privacy of a studio where everything is their own.

Lovely home to stay in, very pretty with great facilities and helpful staff. Just around the corner from Nottingham Trent Uni and a great location to get to different parts of the city easily. 10/10, will be coming back next year!

Im almost completing my term (10 months) here so i can give the true review. I opted for a bronze flat (5 seater) and the experience was quite good. I got good flatmates to live with, some can be a bit troublesome but having a talk in a constructive way will surely help. Otherwise you can involve the management to deal with them. The rent is comparatively very reasonable here for students and the quality and quantity you get is also decent. As im still giving it a 4 star (4.5 stars is not an option) because in the beginning students faced some problem like fire alarms getting off every 5 days and common room was not maintained efficiently (like if something go missing, it will not be there for a while). However, its been better in the second half. And also the Nottingham Square is transferred to Student Castle group from The Homes for Student, so maybe they'll able to provide a 5 star experience with a more efficient team and management.

Stayed here for three years, I can honestly say you will not find a better located accommodation for such a good price. Affordable, the 44 week contract is perfect, 10 mins from NTU city campus, plenty of shops, pubs, and takeaways 5 mins away, green spaces aren’t too far away either. The courtyard and common room is great for making friends. Security within the building is great also with 3 locked doors before you reach your room door which also has a lock on it. The building is old which sometimes brings its own maintenance issues however it also adds character. Issues are generally dealt with by staff swiftly (use the reporting app as it gives a paper trail). The building isn’t staffed 24/7 however I have never found this to be an issue in my whole three years. I would also recommend purchasing a memory foam mattress topper for comfort. The rooms are bigger and you get a 3/4 sized bed which I know some of the uni accommodations don’t provide and they charge an extra £2-3K/annum. I’ve also had friends live across the city, most agreed that Nottingham square had the best location. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone!
