T the apartments are spacious and the location is amazing. Front desk and management are amazing! Kimmy and Owen are always ready to help out at the front desk. They're quick on maintenance requests too.

This is an absolutely terrible place to live. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. My experience was a nightmare from the very first day. When I arrived to move in, the apartment was nowhere near ready. It was filthy, disgusting, and completely unlivable. The mattress was absolutely disgusting, with visible filth on it when I first arrived — something no one should ever have to deal with. When I complained, the manager said it would be cleaned “in an hour,” even though it was already late in the evening and I had nowhere to stay that night. Even after they “cleaned,” the apartment was still dirty, and I had to clean it myself just to make it somewhat livable. From day one, the manager was mentally harassing and dismissive. When I asked for my deposit back due to the unacceptable living conditions, I was treated unfairly and ignored. Maintenance was just as bad — slow, unresponsive, and ineffective. There were constant issues with the heat, broken blinds, and a persistent bad smell throughout the apartment. To make things worse, they tried to charge me for broken blinds that were clearly damaged by previous tenants, even though I had barely lived there. The entire experience was stressful, exhausting, and completely unprofessional. This place is poorly managed, poorly maintained, and absolutely not worth the money or the stress. I strongly recommend avoiding this apartment complex altogether.

Avoid unless you enjoy hidden fees and poor management. When I moved in the staff member told me that if I didn’t report my dog they would overlook it. That became a huge issue later. That was fully my responsibility, I just didn’t like the manipulation talk. I’m going to be honest, I have no proof of it obviously but I will leave it up to you to do what you will with this info. I lived here for a year, and I cannot recommend this property. If you prioritize transparency, professionalism, and honest management, look elsewhere—there are plenty of better-managed options in Rochester. My experience was defined by a culture of manipulation and poor communication. From the start, I was given misleading information regarding pet policies, which set a dishonest tone for the entire residency. Beyond that, management frequently implemented mandatory charges—such as a $10/month trash fee—that were never outlined in the lease agreement. The management approach here is consistently hands-off and dismissive, frequently hiding behind "not our responsibility" when issues arise. For example, when I moved in, the living room furniture was torn and damaged from previous tenants. I submitted a work order for a replacement, only for it to be canceled without any communication or explanation. It became clear that if an issue costs the property money, they have no interest in ensuring the tenant is comfortable. Most recent issue, was that they led me to sign the lease with verbal agreement that I would get a free month of rent, fast forward to today, they said they couldn’t honor the free rent because I wasn’t eligible for the promotion. What??? Anyways I called and Kim took care of it for me which I’m grateful for. I just believe that their practices are not transparent and are riddled with dishonest practices such as this. While they do a good job of keeping up appearances with "amenities" and "events," it feels like a shallow effort to distract from the lack of core service. If you are looking for a professional, honest living environment, this is not the place for you. Save yourself the headache and weigh your other options very carefully. I am not interested in a generic PR response; this review is intended to provide future tenants with an honest look at the reality of living here. There was a mandatory charge for trash removal that isn’t outlined in the lease, it’s $10 a month. Also didn’t start until the second month into the lease, an example of a mandatory charge that the property implemented after the signing of the lease later after a month without it. An example of while maybe legal just begs the question why. The property itself they have been trying to make improvements to and doing a great job under what I think is new management. My takeaway after a year of living here is that I wouldn’t live here again or tell my friends to live here. There was too many tactics that made you feel like they only cared about your money disguised as “amenities”. Communication was slow and very often took a “not our responsibility” approach which while in theory isn’t untrue, is certainly an issue. Because a lot of the times I had problems, it was because of hidden fees and bad communication on their end. There wasn’t really any one thing that made this a one star. It was just a multitude of little things that made the year here very uncomfortable and a little bit manipulative. Bad communication, false information to sign the lease. Fees not outlined in the lease. A very hands off “not out problem approach” all under the hood of new “amenities” and “events”. There are a lot of nice places with amazing staff in Rochester. Do yourself a huge favor in life and just weigh the options very carefully.

Attended a Valentine’s Day event there and had a lot of fun! The office staff, including Aidan, Sel, and Eoin, is always ready and willing to help. They hold these events often which really foster a good community common space.

My experience at The Feywild has been great. The staff team of Kade,Kimmee,Sel and Owen have been very supportive and patient. I'm a returning Adult student and the environment has been one of comfort and is peaceful. The location is convenient and the apartment is spacious. There is a slight disadvantage in guest parking which is a walk from another parking lot,but overall Im happy . "A home is what one creates it to be." 🧚♀️"Make your own magic wherever you are" 💫
