Areas close to the A325 (Farnborough Road): Residential areas along the A325, which connects the town centre to the UCA campus, offer a good balance of proximity and potentially more affordable housing options. Bus services along this route are frequent.

Weydon: Located to the east of the town centre and within reasonable walking or cycling distance of the UCA campus, Weydon is a more residential area with a mix of houses that may be available for student lets. It tends to be slightly quieter than the town centre.

Short Heath: Situated to the north of the town centre, Short Heath offers more affordable housing options in a residential area, with bus services connecting it to Farnham town centre and the UCA campus.

Aldershot (for those willing to commute): Located a short bus or train ride from Farnham, Aldershot generally offers more affordable housing options due to its larger size and military history. There are direct bus routes to Farnham and a train connection.

Trains (National Rail): Farnham Railway Station is located in the town centre, approximately a 15-minute walk or a short bus ride from the UCA Farnham Campus. The station offers frequent National Rail services to London Waterloo (around an hour) and other destinations in Surrey and Hampshire. Students can significantly benefit from the 16-25 Railcard, offering a 1/3 discount on most train fares nationwide if they meet the age or full-time student criteria.
