Rhodaus Court, canterbury

I’ve been living in Rhodaus Court since August 2022, and I’m still here in the same exact room, nearly four years later! I’ve stayed through rent increases and everything, even when my family encouraged me to move somewhere cheaper, because honestly, this place has become home. Holly, the resident manager, is absolutely amazing. She’s friendly, kind, and genuinely cares about every student. She even tries my spicy food sometimes, that’s how down-to-earth and lovely she is! She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported. Bea, who manages all three accommodations, is just as incredible. For someone in a senior position, she’s so approachable, humble, and understanding. She actually listens to feedback, takes it on board, and works towards improvement. That’s one thing I truly love , here, your voice will be heard. Amber, who’s based in Palamon, is also super nice and helpful. Honestly, the whole team deserves credit. They make sure you get your money’s worth by constantly doing fun and thoughtful events, Valentine’s events, breakfast mornings, pancake days, move-in activities, and Christmas celebrations. It creates such a warm, community feeling. If something ever goes wrong, like maintenance issues or emergencies, it’s handled immediately. When our flat once had a small flooding issue, it was fixed the same day. The maintenance team doesn’t waste time, and security is always available if you need them. You always have access to your parcels (which a lot of other accommodations don’t offer as smoothly). And if you’re ever struggling mentally or emotionally, they’re understanding and supportive, things get sorted quickly and with care. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. If I had to choose again, I’d still pick Rhodaus Court without hesitation. It’s more than accommodation it’s a community. I’ve built so many memories here that this room truly feels like home.

The accommodation has felt safe and welcoming throughout the entire year. The staff are incredibly friendly and approachable, and are willing to help out with any issues. The rooms are well maintained and provide the necessary amenities to make student life feel stress free. The location is also ideal with the city centre located about a 5 minute from the accommodation and the local train station about a 3 minute walk so accessing public transport is very efficient.

Lovely place to live. Stayed here my first year of uni, after moving out into a house with some friends I instantly knew I wanted to move back so I did and it’s the best decision I’ve made.

For your own wellbeing don’t book this place I will say tho the security is helpful and so are SOME of the receptionist but that’s about it - you do what u wish with this info thanks

I enjoyed my experience as a student in Canterbury and I can say that staying at Rhodaus Court played a major role in that. Top student-friendly facilities that were easily accessible. Holly at the reception was wonderful. She was a great communicator, knew everyone’s names and addressed any questions or issues we had.
