Midtown is an awesome apartment complex and I love living here! The amenities are awesome and the rooms are super nice. Vanessa and Amanda really made my move in stress free and I can't thank them enough. I'm so glad I get to call Midtown home!

Midtown’s leasing staff has been amazing to me and my roommate! We recently had to swap units and they were so helpful every step of the way! They made sure we knew all the necessary information and got us into a new unit swiftly! Genuinely the sweetest people and I love just stopping in to chat with them! Midtown had also been AMAZING with my little pup! All of the leasing and maintenance staff always say hi and are sure to greet him! He loves his visits to the leasing office to say hi!

The Current Midtown team is outstanding! Amanda has been so responsive, courteous and professional in helping us navigate through a transition from housing at W&M to this amazing complex for our student athlete daughter attending the College. We had many special requests for multiple factors in play for the eventual move in due to sports commitments for early arrival and they made the process easy for us in being so accessible to provide clear direction. I only wish such a fabulous apartment option existed when I attended W&M! Kudos to the entire Current Midtown organization! Thanks again! Best, John Tegeris

Updated review: about to move out of this place, good riddance. Very difficult to believe any of the good reviews since we were bribed with free Starbucks to write good Google reviews for them. Also some good reviews are from employees. Notice how all the bad reviews have many "thumbs ups" while the good reviews don't, which tells you the attitude us residents actually have towards this place. Still zero building security, most building doors are unlocked (see photo of door broken open and nearly falling off the hinge). Not uncommon to see homeless people residing in the entranceways and stairwells. Cost of rent is NOT worth the price and doesn't even include the price of parking, which ranges from $150-$700. AC is really on and off, I know multiple people who haven't had it working for months. Literal months. Trash chutes don't function much of the time (see other photo) so you have to find somewhere else to put your trash to avoid a fine. The pool turned green recently, I guess because of algae, which pretty much sums us the quality of this place (see that photo too). Bless the maintenance people who are nice but do way more than they should to keep this place together. The "new management" (who began in September of 2023) STILL blame all these issues on the old management, which is beyond stupid. This may be the only part about being a W&M student that I won't miss. Do everything you can to avoid living here.

I've overall been content with my time at Current Midtown. For reference, I moved into a top floor 1-bedroom unit, so I am not in one of the shared units and do not have any feet above me. I viewed the place remotely, and they accommodated that with a Facetime call and walked me around, so that was nice. The option to have the apartment furnished helped me out since I was coming in without much furniture of my own. The furniture is basic, but was enough to not have to worry about that when I was moving in from out of state. My central air was not working properly in the first few months that I was here, but maintenance was very responsive when I submitted work orders (they came the same day within a few hours). Later on the replaced the central air unit entirely, and the new unit has been working great and is much quieter than the old one, so that was a big plus. The main issue that keeps me from giving the 5th star is the price and the price increase that will seemingly come along with a leasing renewal. The location is convenient, and I don't know what their finances look like with all of the construction, but the prices are still quite high and will be getting higher. Other than that, the staff are friendly, they have been responsive whenever I have needed anything, and they do quite a lot of programming that I admittedly have not really participated in since I moved in, but if that's your thing they have fairly frequent events. Full disclosure, they did ask me if I would be willing to write a review, but they also did not promise any compensation, and everything here is my honest personal experience.
