The Village on Telluride, san-marcos-tx

I have never written a review but I think this is absolutely unacceptable. When we first moved into the villages it was nice and we were excepting to have a good last year in San Marcos. When we first moved into we noticed our barstools were all tore apart and we requested new ones which we never got. Then on the same first day our washer was broken and we could not use it. We called maintenance to our apartment about 7-8 times about our washer and it never got fixed. They would come in and mess around with it and say they fixed it but it never stopped making the sound. We also have our whole kitchen and laundry area flood and when we called maintenance to help they said it was not an emergency and they never came to our apartment and my roommate and I had to throw the water out of our apartment and spent a few hours on drying our kitchen. We also had an ant infestation that came out of nowhere that was so hard to get rid of. We just moved out a few weeks ago and we got our final charges and of course I was expecting to get charged for a few things such as making holes in the wall to mount my tv, but we got charged for the bar stools that we told them were ripped to begin with and other things that were already in bad shape when we got to the apartment. It felt like they did not look at our move in sheets and charged us for whatever they could. And if we want to make a dispute about these charges we are not allowed to email, call, or go in person to talk to them about it, we have to send in a google doc and wait for them to get back to us. I feel like that is just away to make us pay for charges and make it difficult for us to communicate with them. The lack of communication is frustrating and seems like they are taking advantage of the situations. I do not recommend moving here!!

Tour was so nice! Very clean and safe property. Im planning on living here in the summer, I'll update my rating if it changes when I move in!

The absolute WORST management ever. The houses are nice but the staff is extremely rude and they charge fees based on where on the property you are but don’t let you choose where on the property you live. Lived here in the same house for two years the second year they got greedy and started charging for a “pool view” mind you we could not choose to have a “pool view” so we had an extra fee every month and people screaming outside our window all night at the pool. Save yourself the hassle and choose somewhere else.

I had a great experience touring The Village on Telluride. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Jayleen Curd was incredibly helpful throughout the process and took the time to answer all of my questions. She was professional, friendly, and made the entire experience stress-free. If you're looking for an apartment and want someone who genuinely cares about helping you, I highly recommend working with Jayleen and checking out The Village on Telluride!

Toured recently and had a really positive experience! Have some friends who already live in these apartments so wanted to check them out for myself. Great apartments w nice amenities! Jayleen from the office was super sweet and helpful with any questions I had!
