This experience truly changed my life. From day one, the environment was incredibly supportive, and every staff member made a meaningful impact on my daily life. Haley brought such bright, uplifting energy and consistently went above and beyond. Riley kept everything fun and engaging, always bringing a great presence and positive vibe. Brooke was a constant source of warmth, always greeting everyone with a smile no matter what. Jaden made a lasting impression, and her spirit is still felt even after her time there. And Hofsa was genuinely a shining light, bringing a unique energy that made a difference in such a short time. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend it enough to anyone coming in, especially transfers or anyone looking for a strong, welcoming community. 10/10. No notes.

My son is coming to Vanderbilt for his masters and we live a few hours away but the staff has been so helpful over the phone! We came to tour a month or so ago with Briley and she has been so helpful with giving us additional information about the floor plans and how roommates work. All of the Broadview staff is so helpful and the building is in such a great location for Vandy students.

Students - this building is a scam designed to squeeze every possible dollar out of you. - They DO NOT prorate rents. So even if you move in on Aug. 24, they still charge you the full month's rent for Aug. I paid pretty much $1600 to live here for a week in Aug. & then another $1600 to live here for 3 days in May. - You cannot personalize start / end dates for your lease. So even if you plan to move in in Sept., they STILL charge you Aug. rent. - If you want to do an "academic year" lease (aka from Aug-May), they charge you an extra $289/month. Then they charge you another $50 "application fee" if you choose to reapply to live here. - If you do an annual lease (aka from Aug-July), and you (like most students!) don't plan to be here for the summer, you have to find a subleasee who is "affiliated with Vanderbilt." If you somehow manage to find this magical person who goes to Vandy but wants to live at the Broadview for the summer, the building then makes you completely move out of the room (meaning you have moving & storage costs). Then they charge you $250 as a "relet fee." Other ways you can lose money: - By calling the office for "non-emergency issues" outside of business hours ($100). (This was a random policy they decided to announce in Oct., even though it's mentioned nowhere in the lease). - Getting locked out of your room outside business hours ($100). (Another new policy announced in Oct.) - Between $160-$218 for furniture & utilities. The furniture consists of the shoddiest, cheapest pieces you have ever seen. I have never been in a room at the Broadview where the blinds weren't broken & the paint wasn't chipped off the furniture. The closet "door" is a curtain. - Related: one time it was 18 degrees & the heating stopped working in a few rooms in the building. It took one of my friends about a week to get a space heater, but they never prorated her utilities. Also fun fact: it took the building management a month to respond to her email. Seriously, live anywhere else. It looks cheap & convenient in the beginning, but the building finds any reason it can to squeeze every last dollar out of you.

This apartments try to be the balance between a dorm and apartment, but unfortunately it fails at both: it has the price of an apartment, and the size of a dorm. The building quality is also extremely poor: the wall is paper thin and I could always hear my next door neighbors' TV or my upstair neighbor's footsteps. The noise level in general is hellish. Everyday there are on average 10 emergency vehicles blasting sirens driving by. They also don't provide any parking spaces. The only saving grace is the location being close to Vanderbilt, but there are also many other apartments that are within walking distance to Vandy with better rent and amenities.

Love the staff at BV. One night I lost the key to my storage locker right before an early morning flight, and I was lowkey panicking because I needed to grab some stuff from storage. Someone picked up my call at 9 PM and helped me open the locker.
