The View at Morgantown, morgantown-wv

My daughter currently lives at the View in Morgantown during her freshman year at WVU, 2025-26. We renewed for her sophomore year as well. She's been very happy there. The two young ladies in the Leasing Office were extremely helpful in working out a few issues we were having with the new lease and my daughter's utility bills. Nothing major, but issues nonetheless. Both Callie and Kaylee were very friendly, courteous, and helpful in solving all of our issues. Thanks again.

I’ve had a mixed experience living at The View at Morgantown. I want to start by saying the staff has always been helpful and friendly—I don’t want to discredit them at all, because they’ve been great to deal with. That said, the biggest issue is the value for the price. Rent is going up after they were bought out, and a $150/month hike for next year is ultimately what’s forcing me to look elsewhere. It’s hard to justify that kind of increase when several basic things around the complex haven’t been addressed. For example, multiple pieces of gym equipment have been broken for over a year, and the hot tub has supposedly been “getting fixed” since we first toured back in January 2024. On top of that, the overall cleanliness has noticeably declined since the janitor left and was never replaced. Again, the staff is great, but it’s the little things that really matter—especially when prices are going up this much. Those issues should be handled if rent is going to keep increasing. Overall, I can’t recommend living here at the current price point. I’d suggest looking elsewhere before choosing The View at Morgantown.

I absolutely love living at The View! The community is welcoming and friendly, and the management team is always attentive and professional. The apartments are modern, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of natural light and thoughtful touches.

The rooms are poorly vented.. noisy.. ...dark ... creeping adults living with students. Unhelpful management. Parking is awful. Would have my kid go back to the dorms. Not worth the money.

Was a great place to live! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Tommy always went above and beyond. The maintenance was super responsive and friendly any time I needed their help! I would recommend for any student looking for a nice place to live close to campus.
