Kelly Rental Management Apartments, morgantown-wv

My daughter and I lived in one of Kelly Rental’s 2-bed room units for a year between 2023 - 2024. If you’re looking for a student apartment rental, you owe it to yourself to book an appointment with Kelly Rental to check out its properties. Kelly Rental deserves a 5-star rating for these good reasons: 1) All of their rental units are in walking distances to at least one of the West Virginia University campuses. 2) The rental business is family-owned and family-managed by Messrs. Brian and Dave Kelly. As such, service calls are answered and worked on quickly, lawns mowed periodically, and snow shoveled ASAP. 3) When a tenant moves into an apartment, the unit is always thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and made tenant-ready. The Kellies love their properties, and they ask the tenants to do the same by not poking holes on the walls, not burning candles, keeping the rooms, furniture, and appliances clean, and returning the unit(s) in the same conditions as they were given. 4) Management is respectful to tenants by always giving proper amount of time in advance before entering an apartment. In addition, rules are set forth for tenants to respect each other by banning smoking inside the building, playing loud music, and/or gathering large crowds. 5) Finally, Kelly’s rental charges and fees are fair and affordable, plus, after you move out, your security deposit refund will be sent back to you in about 30 days and adjusted by honest and reasonable deductions!

Our son rented from Kelly for the last three of his undergrad years. The apartment was small and nothing fancy, but it was super close to campus, furnished, had a W/D, and had plenty of off-street parking, so it checked almost all our boxes. We also appreciated the rules against large, loud gatherings. Given the Sunnyside location, it was nice to know that the Kellys owned many of the surrounding houses, so we figured it wouldn’t be complete chaos there. Our son found the Kellys to be extremely responsive to any maintenance issues he encountered. Brian was almost always at the office nearby and able to take care of things personally and promptly. He also worked with my son and his roommate to coordinate updating the kitchen and carpeting while they were there. Because the Kelly family owns and maintains all the properties themselves, they were always aware of the conditions and worked to keep things in good shape. There is a strict cleaning list upon checkout, which includes either having the carpets professionally cleaned or paying them to do it, but all this information is provided upfront, and the fees were all reasonable.

I leased with Kelly Rental Management for 3 years, and had a phenomenal experience! Brian Kelly was extremely accommodating to his tenants, and kept all of his units in great condition. Brian was always prompt and efficient with repairs, and maintained strong communication with his tenants. I highly recommend renting with Kelly Rental Management—the landlord, apartments, and experience could not be better!

I signed my first lease with Kelly Rental during of October of my freshmen year after hearing multiple teammates' recommendations. I continued with Kelly Rental from my sophomore to senior years at WVU. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this family. Apartments and houses are in great condition and are very clean, especially when it comes to college housing. Any time my roommates and I called, emailed, or even texted the Kelly's about a maintenance issue, one of them was there within a day (almost always just an hour or two after)! Rent is extremely fair for what you get and locations are great. My apartment and later my house both had off-street parking which is a huge plus, but they also have a number of blue-line passes to give as well. This is your best option for college housing and truly added to my experience at WVU! Thank you Kelly's!

Kelly Rentals is a fair and reasonably priced leaser. Their apartments have a range of locations in Sunnyside/Downtown Area. Many of which have fairly quiet locations and include the cost of utilities and parking in their lease. Brian is a reasonable landlord that values mutual respect between himself and his tenants. Given that there is an understanding that he personally maintains many properties and that he is appropriately notified of damages or issues in the apartment.
