Villas on Rensch, buffalo-ny

As soon as I got shown around, I knew this was the place for me. It has everything you need while at a great price. Abby and Julia were so helpful in the application process. Amani gave the best tour and answered all questions I had!

The place is very good to stay. Very well maintained and a quite place. Rent is a little but high and now it is higher suddenly. Otherwise everything is good. You can choose your roommate also for sharing apartment. But the only problem is you have to take for atleast one session. You can't get it for a short term. There is a maintained gym, common area, indoor pool, dirt, study area..

The shuttle randomly stops running. The schedule said that the shuttle was running and I waited in the cold for a long time. Other times the shuttle idles purposelessly for up to 10 mins. The units are very poorly made, the insulation is non-existent. Expect a high heating bill. My washing machine was broken for 2 MONTHS despite relentless pleading and complaining. Don't live here!

Very deceptive maketing. Have only lived here for a semester but there are so many things wrong with the place already. It wasn't clean when we first arrived (greasy stove top, black grimy rings around the burners in the kitchen), the sidewalks and roads are plowed only once in the morning which pretty much forces you to walk through deep or dirty snow. Even after the snow is removed, the base layer turns into ice, so you'll slip, anyways. They don't lay down any salt. The shuttle schedule and driver break times are terribly inconvenient, especially now that they've combined the Rensch and Chestnut shuttles. The hot tub never opened despite them promising that it would once they had it fixed. They also advertise events that just never happen... low turnout doesn't matter when you don't allow any turnout to come in the first place

Been living here for the semester, when we moved in the floor was extremely dirty, I mean you walked around on it for 5 mins and your socks are black. Ever since we moved in the dishwasher has been leaking and not working well at all. We always put in requests and they come to fix stuff but it doesn’t seem like they actually do anything since it starts leaking again a day later. The dryer also broke and they didn’t come fix it for over a week. One of the burners on our stove hasn’t worked since we moved in. Our fridge and freezer just completely stopped working yesterday as well. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars instead of one is because I like the layout of the apartment and the location.
