I was informed one week before inital move-in that the building wouldn't be ready until four weeks later, that would leave me unable to attend my first three weeks of classes, the day before move in I was given the details of where I would be staying as temporary accommodation. Since the inital push back, we have had three more delays and I have no faith that the new date of the 6th of December will be the final date. I am ending my tenancy and I am starting anew with the temporary accommodation building, I reccomend anyone still waiting to move into icon does the same. Had I not been as hesitant as I have been, I would have paid 2.5 thousand for a building I have NEVER been inside, with the next rent going out in January- I have been given no reason to believe that I wont be expected to pay 5 thousand for a room I've never seen. There is a clear lack of communication on all levels at prestige, the woman who has been given the unfortunate role of messenger is expected to handle all of our grievances alone whilst the company above her give little to no wriggle room, she is a lovely person and I am deeply saddened by the stress this must be causing her, prestige must have known far ahead of time that the building wouldn't be ready- they were supposed to take over the building a full month before opening and yet only a week before first move-in, they find out they cannot connect to the grid? I call bullshit. We were told minor electrical issues were to blame but it seems from the outside that the building has been gutted, scaffolding is still up and the entire outer space is still surrounded by building site walls. As salt in the wound, we have been offered a reimbursement of £800 for the inital delay, and an additional £125 for every week afterwards, we are now looking at a potential reimbursement of £1800, and yet? When I requested to have the initial £800 removed from my rent, as described in the offer, the fine print was exposed more clearly and I found out that we are expected to pay the *full* rent, exactly on time and that we can only collect the reimbursement on the day we actually check into icon, I am staying somewhere that is £800 cheaper than icon already, but im expected to pay the full rent for a building that I, again, have NEVER BEEN INSIDE. To limit the compensation to after check in is absolutely laughable, I have no reason to believe that check-in will ever come, I was prepared to move in on the 13th of September and yet, until the 12th I was left thinking I would have to take half a semester out of my course as I cannot travel for classes. The higher team at prestige have a lot to answer for, and it seems they will never do so themselves, instead holding their lower rung workers over the fire and waiting to see how bad the burns are, last year I lived in an actual biohazard situation and yet I would still have preferred that over the stress and anxiety that I have faced while trying to live at Icon, do not trust prestige, they have no concern nor respect for their residents or their workers whatsoever. I will not be living here, prestige will not earn a penny more of my money, as what they have received is still far too much for what they have offered.

Fantastic accommodation with all amenities gym, laundry, study spaces and wi-fi. Also only a short walk from campus. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Building was advertised to be ready for move-in in September. They still haven't opened this building for the students they promised it to, and still haven't paid out the compensation they promised for the massive inconvenience they have caused for all those students. Compensation was meant to be paid by the 6th of Feb, and as of writing on the 11th of Feb, absolutely no move have been made to compensate the students! Absolutely disgusting behaviour!
