I’ve had a good experience in Student Cribs so far! The crib is well maintained and upon moving in was to a good standard, and staff are friendly. I’ve had a couple issues with getting admin issues resolved but the staff have tried their best to do what they can.

Easy to sort the tenancy and details and any problems fixed quick and easily through their portal

Had a great year with student cribs, Mike P was our regular maintenance man and he took the time to get to know us and always did a top job 😊

Staff contradictory, administrative errors, inaccurate advice and repeated miscommunication causing unnecessary stress! My situation was already stressful, but Student Cribs did not alleviate any stress or help when they definitely could have. The accounts team gave me completely false information, telling me I didn’t have to pay rent for two months; something that was later rectified by a senior manager because it wasn’t even possible. After that, I was suddenly told I had 48 hours to pay a large amount and, when I asked for clarification, was told “it doesn’t really matter.” They sent me the procedure to releasing from a group contract as opposed to a individual contract to which I had found out myself. As I was not required to sign another tenancy for another replacement tenant I assumed I was released from the tenacy. Student cribs did not notify me when a replacement tenant was archived, instead blamed me for not knowing when all I had was an email from “Claudia Terry” with no subject and a link asking me to fill bank details with no obvious association to student cribs nearly anyone would have thought was a scam. Two different staff members quoted me different holding deposit amounts, the payment system failed repeatedly, and my replacement tenant’s forms were delayed for over a week. I was also told I couldn’t get a replacement until I’d cleared arrears which again, completely untrue. All of this happened while I was paying double rent as a student with no financial support. Every mistake, delay, and mixed message from Student Cribs caused more emotional and financial stress that could have been completely avoided if their staff communicated properly or followed their own procedures. I have no confidence in Student Cribs after this event, although the initial issue was not necessarily their fault (nor mine) these administrative mistakes and staff contradictories which followed caused me serious financial and emotional stress, and could have been alleviated at multiple points which I am convinced could have made eme aware I was still legally in the contract in the first place, and got my replacement tenant in quicker. In both cases saving me and my family the constant misinformation and struggle.

Worst student letting company. Takes months to fix basic problems. Does not clear mould before entering flat. Leaves furniture broken. Windows broken. Overall terrible. Also extremely overpriced for a single room.
