The Aire Coffee Bar, lounge area, outdoor courtyards, and gym are all in the building, which means most day-to-day needs are met without leaving the property. Boothen Road bus stop is directly outside, and Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station is closed for longer journeys.

As someone who has stayed at Aire since its opening, it has been a wonderful place to stay, and staff like Danielle have been incredibly helpful whenever there are, for example, maintenance issues. I honestly could not ask for a better member of staff. Aire is a perfect accommodation if you want to stay somewhere peaceful and quiet. Danielle hosts all sorts of social events to bring students together, have fun, and make everyone more comfortable during their stay at Aire. She's really nice to talk to and always respectful to everybody. You never see her moody, disrespectful, or downright miserable. She's always doing her job as expected. Despite Aire currently having staff management issues (started since ~February 2026), Danielle will always be there to receive and hand over your parcels and will do her best to help as much as possible. She will also try to include as many people as possible in the fun, engaging social events she personally hosts (and pays for snacks or cooks delicious food!). Not to mention how quickly reported issues are fixed (e.g., bathroom door does not properly lock). Aire is modern student accommodation with various types of studio rooms, ranging from small to really big. Big rooms (Gold and Gold+) come with a wet room, so you have an open space while showering. However, water can seep into the main room, leaving hard water stains on the floor that are difficult to clean. The same can be said about any general floor stain. Furthermore, regardless of how frequently you clean the room, there will always be dust. I recommend investing in an air purifier to circumvent the dust issues. The rooms are nice, but some are weird, with no ventilation; mine, for example, has none, so there is no way for fresh air to enter. I have been offered alternative rooms because it can get extremely hot during the summer; however, I decided to stick with my room because I like it despite its flaws. This will be fixed in the near future from what I have been told. A side note about the rooms: they do come with sensitive fire alarms, so be aware if you cook, as the alarms can be triggered easily. During the night, we have great night staff, especially Beth, who actually cares about students' well-being and the security of the building. She deals with situations respectfully and promptly. Again, I could not ask for a better night staff. Regardless of the flaws I mentioned, I highly recommend staying at Aire, especially since hardworking, competent staff are on-site, including Danielle, Beth. Since moving here in ~November 2024, Aire has consistently been an awesome place to live.

Having lived here for 5 months now, I can say I really enjoy living here. The walk from here to staffs uni is convenient and there are bus tops everywhere. The staff both at the reception and those walking around the property, are all really nice and helpful. Rooms are nice, especially considering the price including communal spaces such as gym and common rooms, and bills. I recommend for students starting in September 2026.

I’ve had such a good experience living here. The building is clean, secure and genuinely feels like a calm space to come back to after long days at uni. Any issues get handled quickly and the staff are always friendly and easy to talk to. A special thank you to Keith and Danielle they’ve been incredibly helpful and consistently go above and beyond. From sorting things out on short notice to just being kind and welcoming, they’ve made the whole experience so much smoother. Honestly, one of the best student accommodations I’ve stayed in. Would definitely recommend.

Staying here has been such a great experience. The studio rooms are spacious clean and well designed with everything you need to feel comfortable. The gym is top tier and makes it easy to stay consistent with workouts and the common room has such a good atmosphere whether you want to relax study or meet new people. The staff really take things to another level. They’re friendly helpful and genuinely care about residents. Keith and Danielle especially stand out for always being approachable and going out of their way to help with anything you need. They make the place feel welcoming and personal in a way that’s hard to find. Overall it’s a great place to live with excellent facilities and an even better team behind it.

I have enjoyed my stay at Aire overall. The rooms are modern, well-furnished, and equipped with everything you need, making it a comfortable place to live. That said, there are several issues that need to be addressed. The building appears to be severely understaffed, which means that when residents need assistance, response times can be very slow. One of the biggest concerns is that residents were promised a £500 cashback payment by October, yet it is now June and only a small number of people have actually received it. Security is another area that requires improvement. On multiple occasions, non-residents and homeless individuals have been able to enter the building, knock on residents' doors, and rummage through rubbish, leaving communal areas untidy and raising concerns about safety. I want to emphasise that the staff themselves are friendly, helpful, and do their best. The problems seem to stem from there simply not being enough staff to manage the building effectively. With rent increasing significantly for the next academic year, I hope management invests in improving staffing levels, security, and fulfilling the commitments made to residents. If these issues are resolved, Aire would be a much better place to live.
