Appalling Management and a Pattern of Disregard Let me be perfectly clear, so no one else makes the mistake I did. The only positive attributes of 2909 Oliver are its convenient location and competitive pricing. That is where the benefits end. My experience has been completely negated by an unprofessional, disrespectful, and infuriatingly negligent management team. The red flags started before I even officially moved into my new unit. I arrived at the apartment—with no prior warning—to find contractors replacing my carpet. All of my belongings, which I was in the process of moving, had been thoughtlessly piled to the ceiling. My computer and other delicate electronics were buried under a stack of seven boxes. The property manager's assurances that the crew would be stopped and the issue handled were hollow; the crew simply continued working, showing a complete disregard for my property. “Apologies again for any confusion or inconvenience. Please rest assured there will be no charges associated with the carpet replacement. We already plan on sending a professional cleaning crew, and painters into the apartment to take care of any touch ups. These charges will not be reflected on your statement either. Please just ensure all belongings and trash has been removed. Please note, management has not completed our move out inspection yet. When you return your keys on Monday, we will begin inspecting all of our transfer units for damages. I guarantee there will be no charges for cleaning, carpet, or paint. However, if we discover any major issues, such as a huge hole in the wall, we can discuss those potential charges at that time.” - Email from Property manager This was followed by an absurd attempt to bill us for "excessive cleaning" in our old unit, with their only "evidence" being a single watermark on a cabinet. - The only image they had and attempted to use as evidence on why we were being charged $80 for cleaning. (attached below) It required a long, unnecessary battle to have this baseless $80 charge removed. Unfortunately, the most recent incident proves to be the final breaking point. Our dryer is grossly inefficient, requiring at least two full cycles to dry a single load of laundry. I have been the point of contact, patiently and courteously filing maintenance requests to get this resolved as I was told to do by maintenance. After multiple visits where maintenance admitted the next step was a contractor, we instead received a stunningly dismissive and hostile email from management. In this email, they had the audacity to falsely claim that one of my roommates had "confirmed they have no issue with its performance." This was a blatant lie. My roommate had told the staff the exact opposite (that he has to run every load twice). Management deliberately misrepresented his words to justify their own inaction. Worse, they used this lie to close the request and, in an appallingly spiteful and unprofessional move, threatened to "cancel" all future maintenance requests for the dryer. My roommate and I sent a response email to correct their falsehood and express disappointment. That email—sent to both management and the property manager—was met with complete silence. We never received a reply. Do not be fooled by the price or the older 5-star reviews. The current management is not worth the stress. If you rent here, be prepared to document every single interaction, fight for the most basic repairs, and be treated with disrespect and gaslit when you have a valid problem. I am beyond disappointed. Save yourself the headache and rent elsewhere.

Maintenance is great! They came to my apartment only an hour and a half after I put in the maintenance request. The request was only for my dishwasher, but they stayed and fixed my closet door and kitchen sink as well! Very kind and considerate, and they were friendly with my cat too!

WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX if you value your privacy, do NOT live here. maintenance and others enter your apartment without previous notice, our AC/heater was broken for longer than 6 months (we had no heater in below freezing weather) and because of this they made us pay +200$ each for electricity, the first few weeks we moved in we had no hot water, when we came back from the holidays they had switched out our couch to a much worse condition one with no notice, the staff is extremely unhelpful when you actually have any kind of problem, etc. I could go on and on as to why this apartment complex is extremely unprofessional, they only want your money and they will suddenly charge you a lot of extra fees for that same reason. AWFUL experience.

Management is awful. Do not move to 2909 Oliver. This is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever dealt with. In my experience, the management does not care about residents, does not communicate properly, and does not do what they are supposed to do. Issues are ignored, and it feels like they have no concern for the people living here. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The only nice thing is that is the close location to campus. Maintenance only shoves the ice from side walks. Not the parking lot or stairs. My roommate and other in my unit have fallen multiple times because snow/ice was not moved off in the stairs and parking lot. They will charge you an overcharge fee from 2 months ago. The office does not help that much. And there is no security or cameras anywhere. I have seen cars being broken into and the office will just send out warning emails, but nothing else. They also have a gate at the front but have never used it . Does not make any sense. If you get locked out since our keys are in our phones, you better have a good back up plan since the office is only available 8-5 on M-F. Having physical keys would be better since have the locks don’t lock from your phone.
