Kerri Kay Apartments, whitewater-wi

I lived in Kerri Kay for 3 years unfortunately. DLK Enterprises is rough, although they have a ton of options, they are incredibly inconsistent on the services they provide, especially in regards to maintainence. My unit, built obviously in the 80s flooded roughly 10 times over my 3 year stay. Although DLK was speedy to get out there and assist in cleaning up, it still happened 10. Times. They were kind enough to give me my full security deposit back, but only after i bugged them over and over having to bring pictures and videos along with me to provide proper evidence to my claims. Also, they were multiple bats that had made there way into my unit as well as a cricket infestation in the walls that they fixed by simply filling a hole with caulk. Similarly maintenance on one occasion also left fans and industrial dehumidifiers in my apartment for 5 days (i was on vacation) causing my electric bill to increase 280% in a week, when i asked for reimbursement they said "we have no way to determine whether or not this was you, or our staff" (again, on vacation). Lastly there were many times where concrete parking barriers, traffic cones, trash cans, buckets, and other various equipment was left strewn about the parking lot for days on end taking up parking space and looking horrible. I enjoyed my apartment sure, but i also had to worry every single time it rained that my apartment was flooding again (it usually was) and constantly had to deal with hoop after hoop to jump through when it came to dealing with management. Overall it seems DLK management and maintenance has stretched themselves thin by owning almost every property in Whitewater but never seeming to really and truly care about their tenants until they complain.
