Village West, west-lafayette-in

I have lived in Village West for the last three years in three different buildings and I am happy with my experience. Over the period I have submitted maintenance requests for lights, laundry, HVAC, and seals for door during the winter and all of them were addressed within 24 hours. The clubhouse is nice, and I have to order a large amount of packages, and the staff have always been accommodating to that. The printers have always worked as well. There is always ample parking, even for guests and the bus is actually pretty good during the week. The biggest improvement I would like to see is better upkeep of the gym facilities.

I love living here! I haven’t had any problems with the wifi, it always work very well. The bus transportation to campus is wonderful, and very reliable. The staff in the clubhouse is amazing and always very kind and helpful. Overall, it’s a great place to live and I would highly recommend!

I lived here for two years during my experience at Purdue in a 2x1 unit, and I had a great experience. The amenities were a huge highlight for me. As a college student without a car living off-campus, it was quite difficult to get around. But with Village West's free shuttle service, it made getting to class much easier. And the pool, gym, and clubhouse were great spaces to relax, work out, or spend time with friends. Another standout aspect of Village West was the maintenance team. Anytime I submitted a request, they were quick to respond and always so professional. It made a huge difference knowing issues would be taken care of really quickly. I also really appreciated the staff in the clubhouse. They were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever I had questions or needed assistance. It created a such a positive and fun community atmosphere. Overall, this was the best and most convenient place to live during my college years. Between the amenities, great maintenance, and kind staff, I would definitely recommend it to students or anyone looking for a well-managed and affordable place to live!

I decided to delete my old review as it was a bit harsh. I’m about to move out in a month and living here has been pleasant. The apartments are spacious and well maintained. The gym gets the job done, and the pool, well I have no idea, but it’s probably nice, I’ll probably check it out once it warms up. The maintenance team goes above and beyond to make sure everything is fixed in a timely manner and working. The only issue I really ever had was with the WiFi, which they fixed as fast as they could and I haven’t had any problems since. If you’re looking for nice, spacious, budget friendly and pet friendly apartments not too far off campus, I highly recommend Village West.

Lived here at Village West for a year and loved it! It is off campus, but not too far. Love the free bus service and free parking! There are quiet trails located near the apartments that I can take my cat to for a walk. The apartments are spacious enough and I had plenty of room for all of my clothes and my cat's things. I like that the clubhouse is available 24/7 for studying and the front desk assistants are super helpful!
