Overall, I had a really positive experience with Granite. Over the past couple of weeks, they helped me explore both on-campus and off-campus housing options with a friend. They were always quick to respond, very friendly, and easy to work with throughout the process. I was planning to sign a lease on a house, but ended up having to back out due to a change in my roommate situation. They were very understanding and even refunded my application fee. I really appreciated their professionalism and would definitely recommend them!

We had a great touring experience with Hayden C! He made the day easy despite unexpected changes, bad weather and short notice. Answered everything we had questions about, great communication. Very comfortable recommending him as a leasing agent for help navigating housing in Lafayette!

Excellent service and a very professional leasing experience. I called the leasing office around 9:15 a.m. hoping to see an apartment on very short notice because I had a flight in a few hours. Hayden C. was incredibly accommodating despite the tight timing. I needed to leave Purdue University by 10:30 a.m., and although he already had an appointment at 10:00, he offered to meet me at 10:30. Knowing my schedule was tight, he even arrived early at the front entrance to make things easier. Hayden was very professional throughout the tour. The entire building is well-maintained. The apartment was under cleaning, but it was well kept. It also fit my child's needs. He clearly explained the company and the apartment, answered all of my questions, and even suggested other apartments that might also fit our needs. After the tour, he stayed on top of follow-ups. Although we ultimately couldn’t move forward due to logistical reasons, he remained courteous and understanding the entire time. I truly appreciate his professionalism, responsiveness, and customer-focused attitude. Highly recommended.

I lived at Qube for 2 years and moved out in May 2025. I am a non-smoker, yet I had to pay a huge fee of $791.93. I am writing this review because Granite's charges contradicted the terms of their own lease agreement regarding the reconditioning fee. 1. Blaming a Non-Smoker: I am a non-smoker. However, I was charged a $791.93 "Turnover damage cost" for "nicotine lining" and "cigarette marks". During my stay, smoke smells entered my room from other units through the vents. Management claimed that "smells cannot enter through the vents due to the structure" and kept the charge without listening to me. This excuse makes no sense because management themselves sent apartment-wide emails about smoke smells in the building. This proves the building had a smoke problem, not me. 2. Late Notice & Ignored Communication: My lease ended on July 17. Under standard Indiana guidelines, damages are expected to be processed within 45 days. However, I received the bill in early September, well past this standard window. Worse, they ignored my attempts to talk. I submitted 4 inquiry forms, called 4 times, and emailed 4 times to explain my side. They ignored me for 3 months, then simply declared the "matter closed" in middle of December. 3. Double Charging Issue ($299 Fee): The main problem is double billing. I paid the $299 "Non-Refundable Reconditioning Fee" when I moved in. Section 3 of my lease clearly states this fee covers "cleaning" and "painting". However, Granite charged me an extra $791.93 for "nicotine lining" on the walls. I already paid for painting. Charging me again for this is clear double charging. 4. I paid the full $791.93 on December 23. I did not pay because I admit to the damage. I paid only to protect my credit score from collections. I could not fight back because I moved out of state and did not take photos when I left. Conclusion: Granite ignored the purpose of the $299 fee in the contract. Future students: Take photos of every wall when you move out. Check your lease carefully to make sure they do not charge you twice for the same service.

They have been very helpful in transferring a lease to another occupant, especially with paperworks. I can't express how much Hayden Corder from Granite Student Living helped and was supportive through out the process. Definitely would suggest them if you're searching for apartments in West Lafayette near Purdue Campus area.
