Terrible management of pool area and even worse service. If your room has windows facing the pool, expect to be tormented by the speakers, Jumbotron, first floor balconies neighbors, and/or mysterious pool-goers after 11pm randomly a few times a month. The Jumbotron and pool speakers are completely controlled by the office or whoever works at Ever, and both of these appliances are so unreliable that they could either randomly turn on in the middle of the night or just be completely left on past their turn off times at 10pm. The Jumbotron is a huge screen suitable for billboard ads in Times Square, and its screen is as a result extremely bright. It seeps through the flimsy see-through default curtains and flashbangs you in your sleep and is much worse than having a tv on in the room as you sleep. This has happened at least 5 times last semester, and each time I complained, the office tells me “it won’t happen again”, and each time that had been a lie. Now this is not the worst of it because for visual things you can at least still get sleeping masks ( I do have blackout curtains but since they can’t easily cover the entire window space, the Jumbotron can still seep through - it’s that bad); the worst part is the pool speaker. There are speakers situated around the perimeter of the pool place so they are placed very close to the windows on the first floor. The lower your floor is, the closer your window is to the speakers. The speakers are unpredictable and when they turn on, they show no mercy at all - it’s no different than your neighbors having a music party next door, and there is little to nothing you can do for the noise other than cry because you have a 7:30 am lab the next day and you’ll be running on no sleep involuntarily. Likewise, when I told the front desk and spoke with Ever’s manager, he told me “someone was messing with it”, and this happened at least three times when I complained. Today, the pool speaker turned on at around 5:30 am, waking me and my roommates up. So, this issue has not been fixed or even given the level of attention it needs. While not everyone’s apartment unit is facing the pool area, for those who are, it is absolute torture and demolishes your sleep schedule. If my roommates and I on the second floor wakes up in the middle of the night by the speakers, I can’t imagine what the first floors feel when the speakers are literally right next to their windows. I do not care whether someone was messing with the speakers or not; I care whether they are on or off. Ever’s manager has done a terrible job with managing these two appliances. I think they should just be permanently disabled until they are absolutely sure they can be off during quiet hours because these entertainment devices bring nothing other than terror for those who are pool facing. Police can’t even do anything about it because they can’t turn it off. I’ve also reported this to the City through SeeClickFix and they also can’t do anything about it. There has been negative reviews detailing this issue before, yet these issues still persist, so my two-cents is don’t expect these issues to be fixed and if you are able to not sign with them, please don’t. I would love to have a chat with the area manager, Rachel, if she could help me find a solution. I really didn’t want to leave a negative review in hopes that Ever will come around and fix these issues for good, but it looks like this is a last cry-for-help in hopes of getting these issues another round of attention. Update: They claimed it was not their speakers playing the noise at 5:30am, and addressed the issue by disabling the speakers on normal days and notifying first floor residents about not playing music during quiet hours. I am pleased they have finally addressed this issue promptly after I posted this review, so I raised my rating to 3 stars. Update 1/19/26: The pool TV was left on the whole night and it is audible from our rooms which disturbed my sleep. See video below. I am lowering my rating to 2 stars.

My son and I toured this property on March 10th. We toured with Sasha who provided great information and was able to answer all of our questions. The property is very well designed with nice finishes and highly amenitized. Our post-tour interactions with the Ever team have all been positive with quick and informative responses. Great attention to customer service!

Amazing! Ever is beautiful and I’m so excited for it to be my home next year!! Sasha gave me my tour and was absolutely delightful. You could tell she knows the building and all of its amenities so well and was able to answer every one of my questions perfectly. She is so personable and has been the best with answering all of my questions. Definitely book a tour with Sasha!
