This is the worst housing I have ever stayed in. HVAC units down they have still not fixed it for half the tenants in 90 degree weather. I have had a bathroom clog since I got here have tried to communicate multiple times. They have tried to tell me a technician would be sent out to fix the problem and no one has ever come. I have now been dealing with this issue for months and can’t even take a clean shower because there is 0 communication and a lack of care for residents. Not to mention the elevator breaks down every week. Please find different housing in DC if you do not want to deal with such issues.

I have been a WISH resident since January 2025, first at 215, then 231, and now in Woodley. My experience has been excellent. The housing is clean, safe, and in great locations. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always responsive. WISH creates a welcoming community where it is easy to meet other students and feel supported during your time in Washington, D.C. I highly recommend WISH to anyone coming to the city for internships or academic programs.

As a Father who moved my daughter in yesterday. Here are my take aways. Poor communication from WISH, great staff at front desk who is very helpful, the apartment was "filthy" from previous interns who looked like they just moved out, the building and entry is safe and locked. The location at Woodley Park is fantastic.

I ADVISE TO NOT STAY HERE. Our apartment was extremely dirty when we arrived, half of the promised items that are "included" in your stay are not in the rooms or apartments. We also had a break in on our 2nd week, to which maintenance replied that it wasn't them. We asked to check the cameras and they just said they are there for decoration. Our stove pots are all broken and a health hazard. Another main thing is that the AC room has mold and when we raised it up to management they just said "Ok well come clean and they never came. Checking in is another hassle, you're lucky if you're not waiting for at least 3 hours if you come after hours.

I came to DC for the first time to live here for a while, and WISH has been the perfect way to begin! Here's why I liked it: - Beautiful, safe area just a 5-minute walk from the Capitol Building - Great opportunities for networking — students from all across the U.S. with diverse backgrounds - Opportunity to elevate your skills through events such as speaker series and workshops
