The George DC, washington-dc

My son will be staying at the George over the summer. After looking for a couple of weeks, this option seems very ideal for undergrads/graduate students for summer internship. Prices good, location great. A little tricky to navigate the process bc of specific start and stop system, but doable. Kemi Adedoyin is fantastic. Management should be incredibly proud to have Kemi representing the organization. She was super knowledgable and incredibly responsive both before and after we signed our agreement.

This place has the most horrible HVAC system. The amount of times ive had to make a maintenance request to fix my heat and AC is insane. There’s no reason for my apartment to reach 82 degrees at any point in the year.

The management made use of the DC laws to defense their irresponsible attitude towards HVAC. While the regulations require the room temperature above 65 degrees overnight during the heating season, they emphasize that they will not turn on the AC until the weather is so hot that the outside temperature goes above 68 degrees in the nights. WHICH MEANS, during the spring, even if the weather kept to be extremely hot for a whole month that every day the outside temperature goes to over 80 degrees, they suppose it's a right choice not to turn on the AC if there are three random cold days. Don't sign a lease here, or you will live in Sahara forever.

I’ve had a fantastic experience living in this apartment building. The property is always clean and well-maintained, and any maintenance requests are handled promptly and professionally. The management team is friendly, responsive, and truly cares about the residents. The location is super convenient. I also appreciate the quiet atmosphere and how safe the building feels. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free living experience!

Our daughter loves living here. Maintenance always take care of an issues that might come up. The staff is friendly and professional! They always do a lot of resident events which makes it more like a community and my daughter has made several new friends because of these events. The new owners did a lot of upgrades to the amenities and WE LOVE IT!
