This is the most disgusting excuse of an apartment complex I have ever had the displeasure of living in. From DAY ONE, we had issues with both the apartment and management. When walking into my apartment for the first time, I quickly realized that my roommate was missing her desk, and I was missing my dresser. I immediately went back to the front office and informed them of the needed furniture. They told me they would get it taken care of that day or the next. I can tell you that didn't happen. When I came back a week later, I still didn't have my furniture. I went back to the office almost every other day to get my furniture for the next two weeks, and they still wouldn't give us the furniture. My dad started calling them every day and told them to take care of it, and they finally got it done. However, upon bringing my dresser into the apartment, they dragged it across the floor and left scratch marks all over the place. The next incident took place on the FIRST DAY of classes. My roommate and I went to board the shuttle together, only to realize that it was still parked with no driver inside. We decided to go to the office to ask about it. They simply told us the shuttle wouldn't be running for the day... However, when I asked when the shuttle would be running, they told me they had decided to discontinue the service. We were not informed prior to moving in that this service would be discontinued. In addition to this, my roommate and I were promised by management upon signing the lease that they would have the shuttle running. If we had been informed there was no shuttle, we wouldn't have even signed. We had no time to prepare for this change, and it was too late to get a parking pass from the school. It should also be noted that during this whole time, they were actively advertising that they offered a shuttle service. When I asked how they expected us to get to school, they told me I could walk. The NEXT incident occurred when my car was towed. The Green was notoriously in cahoots with Tow King of Waco. They told us early into our stay at the Green that residents would need to register with the towing company to avoid getting our cars towed. Shady but whatever. I registered with the towing company and provided all my information, including, but not limited to, my car insurance. However, one day as I was walking to my car, I noticed it was missing. Luckily for me, I had the confirmation email of my attempted registration. I went down to the office and asked what was going on, and showed them this email. They took me to the back office and told me that my account with Tow King did not exist. I told them that it did at some point because I had email proof. They began looking for every excuse in the book as to why my car was towed. They tried gaslighting me into thinking that I had entered the information for my car wrong. I pointed out that this was obviously not the case, and I had proof to back it up. The manager reluctantly left to call Tow King and inform them of this error. The entire time she was on the phone with them, she was laughing and giggling like the entire situation was funny, so much so that even an employee of the complex asked what she thought was so funny. When the manager finally came in to talk to me, she told me that I could go pick up my car free of charge from Tow King. My father called and informed them that since they took the car, they could and would put it back. After much arguing, they finally returned my car the next day. In addition to all of the above incidents, the apartment complex was also in a disgusting condition. There was a cat colony on the complex, and they constantly pooped in the hallways of the apartment. It stunk in the hallways constantly, and it was embarrassing to bring anyone over. Trash littered the hallways as well, and it stayed that way for months until college students began touring the complex. Protect your kids and your peace and NEVER sign a lease with The Green if you know what's good for you and your wallet.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I cannot stress this enough. I have been living here since August and it is just one disappointment after another. Where do I even begin? When we first moved into our two-bedroom apartment, my roommate did not have a bed and did not receive one until they came to inspect our room weeks later and noticed that she had been sleeping on the floor, despite numerous visits to the front office and maintenance requests. My room was WORSE, with a shower that is disgustingly stained yellow from the poor design causing our A/C to leak directly into my bathtub. Management claimed that they would be sending someone over to clean the tub numerous times, which never happened. Me and my roommate are also both paying for garages, although we still do not have access to locking our garage doors, so anyone could just enter our private, expensive garages without our knowledge. It also took them about a month to fix my roommate's broken garage door, even though she was still charged for the garage that month. My window leaks extensively whenever it rains, and they did send a maintenace guy up to fix this issue, but he came in, left a mess all over my floor, and did not fix a thing. It was still leaking the next time it rained. My toilet seat has also been broken since I moved in, and every time that I put in a maintenance request, they simply DELETE IT! The poor people working in the front desk are trying their best, but this is just unacceptable for an apartment complex charging such a high price. When we first moved in, we were told Wi-Fi would be included, but we later found out we had to go pick up and set up our routers ourselves. Extracting the information on how to do this proved itself to be extremely difficult. As if all of this isn't enough, for the past few weeks, our Wi-Fi has been extremely buggy, consistently turning on and off at random times, and the A/C has not been working AT ALL. The temperature inside of our apartment has been at 80 degrees or more for weeks, and our maintenance request has not been taken care of. Please take my advice if you want a pleasant experience. DO NOT MOVE TO THE GREEN!!

I am fairly convinced that the numerous good reviews are fake, because all the appliances are run down and broken. The pool has had shattered glass in it for a couple months now and there are no ping pong balls. I have had problems with my oven and fridge, my washer and dryer haven't worked and I have to go elsewhere, clogged sinks and bathtubs, and a toilet overflowing. They have been notified of the needed repairs, and they have been negligent in keeping their apartments livable. It really is a wonder that the place is still standing because of the poor management at this place. 100% do NOT recommend this place, anywhere else would be better! I wrote the review above last year, end of 2026, now it is June 2027. Right now, the front office is closed completely, and the maintenance team has no idea when they will be coming back as well. The hole in my wall is going on 8 months unfixed, TX energy shut off the power to The Green complex intentionally (management most likely had unpaid bills), and the pool now does not work. My monthly bill spiked by $100, and I have no choice but to pay it because I cannot talk to someone about why they uncharged rent. Do not recommend!

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!! Actually the worst. The head of management vapes in your face, does not get any work done, and has the worst customer service I have ever seen. We had a DEAD BIRD in our dryer, they did not fix our dishwasher for MONTHS, and the list goes on. They also overcharged us at least 80 dollars a month, when we talked to them they said it was a mistake and they would fix it, and continue to charge us and not refund. Share with everyone you know not to live here, it is the worst place you could choose. Also, so disgusting and dirty all the time, it was the worst when we moved in.

Note for everyone that is considering moving here or is the current tenant I recently spoke with the Department of Housing and development in Waco. The next time your air goes out don’t bother with maintenance. Call the housing folks if Waco directly ask for the compliance and code department and they will immediately send someone out. Every tenant who’s having an issue with the air-conditioning etc., should be stepping forward and doing this to hold the Greens accountable for all the negligent issues that we’re having. We cannot say enough bad stuff about this apartment. The adjoining bedroom to my son‘s unit has had two major HVAC leaks the most recent one has had an open damaged ceiling for six months with no repair. Additionally, his electric and water bills have been astronomical for a one bedroom unit. We think he is being overcharged and no one is addressing it third. His vehicle was towed from his assigned spot and after four visits into the office, he was told that we would get a $350 credit on our account because he was wrongly towed that credit has not yet shown up on our account. We have been trying to reach someone in the office during business hours for two days and we cannot reach anyone whatever you do. Don’t move here.
