The Quarters Vermillion, vermillion-sd

I leased for 12 months and I loved it here. This property is the standard for property management, cleanliness, and maintenance. Their roomate matching is great! I 1000% recommend getting these apartments. In unit washer and dryer (free) and WiFi that is included. Avoid renting from competitors like Dakota Reality or Grace Properties as they don’t have the safe quality living conditions as The Quarters.

I lived here about two years ago now, and if you are reading this thinking about moving here: DO NOT DO IT! Not only are the lease agreements absurd, but the staff is very unfriendly. Faith is not willing to communicate with residents. For a three bed, three bath, it was OVER $600 a month! Just for one bedroom technically! They are getting almost $2,000 a month just from one apartment. And half of the time, the pool is not cleaned OR big enough for the amount of residents, the hot tub never works and is also unclean, and the tanning beds are a mess! I suggest looking elsewhere.

This complex is mainly for USD students but I urge you to read the lease agreement prior to signing because there are many students who have graduated in 2025 who are still liable for the lease unless they sublet or meet specified lease stipulations. What is most interesting is management isn’t very helpful in entertaining negotiations for an early termination settlement. This is a huge disadvantage for these graduates who have accepted jobs outside of Vermillion. Perhaps a more friendlier management is better suited for your student.

Everything is pretty good, very nice experience and there’s a few issues with the checklists or reviews when you first come in but overall is good

I have loved my time at the Quarters! I live in the 4 bed 4 bath style and it has been such a great experience. The apartments are all well-kept, clean, and modern. The entire staff is so kind and welcoming (especially Emily)! If there are ever any issues with appliances, drains, heating/ac, lighting, etc. the maintenance staff is there to help within 24 hours. Not only was the apartment very homey, but the other amenities like the pool, workout room, printer, and game room are also wonderful additions that I used often! I would HIGHLY recommend the Quarters to anyone.
