My son rents an apartment at the Broad St. Building while attending the University of Alabama, for the past two years and Weaver rentals is the most incompetent, rude and unresponsive Co. I have ever dealt with. There are now three separate leaks in my sons bedroom and his mattress is drenched with water. Last year there was a leak that also created a mold problem. They patched that hole and now its gushing water, lets just say the mold is coming. Taylor is rude and frankly doesn't care about the living conditions that my son is having to put up with. Reading the reviews, "they strive to deliver a happy and healthy living environment"? Really? Three separate leaks all in his bedroom. three buckets of water he is continuously cleaning and emptying? This is a happy healthy living environment? I do hope there response is quick and the problem is solved ASAP! Not a happy Mamma!

I rented at 2 different Weaver Rentals locations throughout my 5 years in Tuscaloosa and both times I felt the management is out to take advantage of young tenants. They’d schedule showings with sometimes less than 12 hours notice and would only agree to reschedule after I brought up the required 24-hour notice stated in the lease. Both a cleaning and painting fee will be removed from your security deposit at Broadstreet Village, adding up to around $150, no matter how clean you leave your apartment. This is not upfront in the lease. The lease states a “cleaning fee/redecorating charge” will be added, not two separate cleaning and painting charges. It might not seem like a lot of money to the people working at Weaver Rentals, but it makes a difference for someone like me. If you’re moving out and wondering if you should run that vacuum one last time to be nice, don’t bother.

We have rented from Phillip Weaver for 6 years now, and never had a single problem. He is easy to work with, flexible, and kind. We would not rent from anyone else. If we ever have a problem, he fixes immediately. Also, his office staff is great, and very knowledgeable. Taylor is very professional and prompt to respond. I highly recommend Weaver Rentals.

Stayed in the Metalworks condos for a year. Nice location & great price. Unfortunately there were a ton of issues with the condo including lots of mold, and many water leaks coming from ceilings & even floors, and a gnat infestation. Weaver does have very responsive staff to get issues fixed but was hit or miss on certain occasions in regard to the quality of the fix. Staff did minimal cleanup after cutting entire holes in walls or re-doing an entire shower for example, leaving rooms covered in white dust. TL:DR: Good location & price. Good staff and will respond if you need something fixed. Will take a long time to get something fixed and it will not be a high quality fix. Expect to do a LOT of cleaning afterward.

My Son has an apartment at The Crescent. We cannot say enough nice things about Weaver Realty. The manager, Taylor, has been so unbelievably responsive to any questions or requests we have made. He is incredibly polite and addresses situations immediately. I would recommend them 150 %. We have been so pleased. We appreciate Taylor more than we can explain.
