I’m genuinely surprised by the high rating for this apartment. I lived here in 2021 and experienced an assault from other residents. During that time, the management was not cooperative with the Tuscaloosa police and did not provide the security camera footage from the parking garage. I was told the incident happened in a “blind spot,” which did not feel accurate based on where it occurred. Throughout the process, it felt like management was more focused on protecting the individuals involved rather than supporting me as the victim. This was extremely disappointing and made me feel unsafe in the community. The location is very close to campus, which is convenient, but based on my experience, I would encourage prospective residents, especially parents, to carefully consider safety and management responsiveness before choosing this apartment. I still have the case number and related documentation from the incident.
