I wish I could leave 0 stars. The property is not kept up during the school year (only during turnover season) and other tenants are not expected to adhere to sanitation rules. Dog and cat poop everywhere in hallways. At the end of the semester they made up new trash valet hours then charged all 4 roommates $500 ea. when 1 roommate left the trash out for more than 2 hours. Our front door electric lock would die frequently with no warning, leaving us no way to lock the door from the outside. That meant when everyone went to class our apartment was left open for hours, maintenance would take at least two days to fix this. It happened 5 times during my 11-month lease. The last time I went to the pool men were standing outside on their balcony catcalling us and brandishing guns. I thought this was student housing? Did not feel safe here ever. Staff are extremely unprofessional. Maintenance blocks every entrance to the parking deck with their golf carts. They once started catcalling me while I was trying to leave out of the garage entrance they had blocked with no warning. Don't live here, the rent is too high for the conditions, service, and stress of living in such a trashy complex. Also, all of their "apologies" under bad reviews are clearly written by AI.

Eman was wonderful to work with during my son’s apartment search. As a parent living across the country, I had many questions, and he was always patient, knowledgeable, and responsive. From the start, Eman was friendly and professional, clearly explaining the community, and what to expect. When I later visited, he remembered us and personally toured the apartment and community, answering questions and reviewing amenities and move-in details. Having been a manager in property management for more than 20 years, I especially appreciated his professionalism, patience, and attention to detail. His exceptional service truly stands out. My son is so excited to move in this fall, and knowing he’s in good hands gives me great peace of mind as a parent. We highly recommend both the community and Eman.

D’andre was very professional and super helpful with getting me prices and breaking down the new renovations. Assured me that the property was safe also reassured me that there would be amenities coming soon in August. Very excited for my move to Tuscaloosa and can’t wait to tour with him. I’m pretty sure that this will be the place for me!!

Got booted from my previous apartment I was set to move into in 2 days, Tenth and Tusk offered the same rate to accommodate those affected. “Lo” was absolutely AMAZING and beyond helpful and I can’t stretch my thanks enough. She constantly greeted and helped others while helping us as well, juggling the early move-ins and the residents that got booted from my previous apartment. 10/10 impression!

HONEST Review: Please Read Before Moving In I lived here for one year, and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Please don’t be misled by the five-star reviews. Most of them come from accounts with only one review, which makes it clear they are fake. The building is not clean. There are rats, mold, and a constant smell that never goes away. Maintenance requests take forever or are ignored completely. One night, I woke up to police cars blocking the entire street. I heard a noise in the living room and thought it was my roommate, but it turned out that a criminal had jumped from the upstairs unit onto our balcony and escaped through our apartment. The police showed me the curtain he used to climb down. If I had been in the living room at that moment, I could have come face-to-face with him. It was terrifying and showed how unsafe this place really is (SEE THE PHOTOS) The management at the time, Greystar, confirmed that I would get my $250 security deposit back in full. They kept delaying it for months, and then the management suddenly changed to Cardinal. The new team told me I had to deal with the old management, and no one ever responded to my emails or calls. I never got my money back. Before signing a lease here, please read what others have written and check online discussions about Greystar and Cardinal. There are many similar stories about how they take advantage of students. If you want a year full of stress, poor living conditions, and an endless fight to get your own money back, this is the place. Otherwise, save yourself the trouble and look somewhere else.
