Hillside Commons, tuscaloosa-al

Hillside commons is located in an easy accessible area but feels more secluded than it is. Units are good for the price considering the other amenities you receive. Very animal friendly, includes things like trash cans with bags scattered throughout the development for easy along with a dog park. The staff is always super friendly along with maintenance, work orders are completed in a timely fashion. Completely gated community and I feel very safe. Overall, I’m impressed with my time here.

I have toured twice now and both times Andrea was my guide. This is a great place and i love the way the buildings are set up. It’s a safe gates community with an awesome dog park!

The property is beautiful, especially the fire pit and pool area—those were my favorite features. Management was also very helpful, and Nicole did a great job answering all of my questions

Hillside Commons is a huge letdown. The rates are way too high considering the cheap construction in the rooms and paper-thin walls. While the staff seems nice, good luck actually getting in touch with them; they're incredibly hard to reach. For the same price, you could be renting a house or paying a mortgage. It's just not worth the money or the constant hassle of trying to get someone on the phone to assist you.

Viewed the property with Andrea and Jacob and they were both very kind and helpful. The complex appears to be very safe, quiet, and full of community. The complex is also close to campsus. Maybe my son will live here in 2025-2026 school year.
