Going on my third year living here and it’s been an overall great experience! I personally don’t have any major complaints considering I prior experience with other apartment complexes and needless to say, student housing is student housing. Any issues I have had have been handled quickly and responsively with the staff. I would not have renewed as many times as I have if I didn’t love it her!! Also, shoutout to Nariah for always being so helpful at the office!!

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE AT THIS PLACE. I have lived here for over a year and my biggest regret is renewing because things have gotten terrible. For two months this summer our apartment had no A/C. And not only would they not lower our rent they wouldn’t even bring us a window unit until we threatened a lawyer. I have so many horror stories from this place. Management enters your apartment whenever they want, and when they leave they hardly ever close the door behind them so your animals will get out. Our oven literally exploded on us twice before they would bring us a new one. Our pool has never been open, and the gate never actually works. We have put in at least ten maintenance requests for our dryer and there only solution is to just pull it out further and further from the wall so now we can’t close the door. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE!! THEY DO NOT CARW ABOUT ANY OF THEIR TENANTS AND DO NOT EVEN HAVE BASIC HUMAN DECENCY.

Very affordable! I love using the flex app to build credit and pay my rent in two installments each month. Staff if very nice!! But affordable student housing comes with some inconveniences like noisy, messy neighbors, and untimely maintenance requests. However, I have loved living at the pointe, being close to friends, campus, and work without going into debt :)

I lived in this apartment for 2 years. During my first year, things were relatively fine, but in the second year, the management became extremely disappointing. Maintenance requests were never handled on time—sometimes they wouldn’t even respond unless followed up multiple times. Communication from the office was poor, and it often felt like residents weren’t a priority.I requested to change my mattress, but I never received a reply. Whenever I made a complaint or work order, they would simply mark it as complete without taking any action. Additionally, their walkways were consistently dirty and never cleaned. There was a spot in my apartment near the stairs where someone had vomited, but it was never cleaned. Also, there main gate was broken since 6 months and never got fixed until I moved out. Their swimming pool was never opened in my last year . It was always under maintenance. The location and apartment itself were okay, but the lack of responsibility and care from management made the overall living experience frustrating. I would not recommend this place at all.

ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN TROY After my renewal for the 2025-2026 year everything went downhill. Our complaints for our basic human necessities were blatantly ignored and frankly refused. It was deemed medically necessary for me to move out of here because of a medical issue that I am having and can no longer climb 3 flights of stairs everyday and they told me basically that it’s not their problem. Our balcony is completely dry rotted and disgusting. Our A/C picks and chooses when it wants to work, and when talked to maintenance about it we were told that we were setting it “too low” even though it is kept on 72°-74°. We went for months throughout the year and especially during the hotter months with temperatures up to 95° outside without A/C. We had to get a lawyer involved to even get ONE window unit installed for our 4 BR apartment. The property is disgusting and never cleaned. There is constantly trash everywhere and not a trash can in sight. We have to run our dryer upwards of 4 times just to dry a small load of clothes. Our stove blew up in our faces within 2 months of move in. The apartment was NOT clean on move in day, I had pubes in my shower and greasy hand prints on my wall. I have lived here an entire YEAR and have never ONCE gotten to step foot in or around the pool because it’s constantly being “worked on”. The gate does not work, it shouldn’t even be called a gated community. And NOW, during what they call “turn” there are unknown men coming in and out of our apartment full of girls, whenever they want. We were sent no email, and given no formal warning that these men would be showing up. They leave our door open with no regard to anything or anyone in our apartment. Today I got home and my door was WIDE open with no worker in sight. I have no idea how long our door was open, anyone could’ve come in here, taken what they wanted and i guarantee nothing would’ve been done about it. Luckily, our animals did not leave the apartment, but what would’ve happen if they would’ve? It’s completely disgusting and disrespectful to everyone who lives here. Do better.
