My daughter lived at The Edge for five years, so this review is based on years of firsthand experience with the property — not one isolated incident or a short-term stay. Unfortunately, after everything we experienced, I would strongly encourage parents and students to do their research before signing a lease. Safety became a serious concern. Cars were broken into in the parking lot, and we experienced an extremely disturbing situation involving contractors who were stalking our daughter and showing up at her apartment at approximately 3:00 AM. The situation became serious enough that we had to file a police report. As parents, having to worry about our daughter’s safety in the place she was supposed to call home was completely unacceptable. The property itself was also consistently poorly maintained. The pool was frequently closed or unavailable, the grills were regularly broken, and basic upkeep did not match what you would expect from a property charging these rates. I would also caution anyone touring the property to make sure you see the EXACT unit you will be renting. The apartments shown in the marketing and tours can look very different from what you actually receive. Unless your specific unit has been remodeled, do not assume it will resemble the updated units being advertised. The furniture and overall condition of my daughter’s apartment were disappointing compared with what was presented. After five years, we had plenty of time to see how this property was actually operated. Between the safety concerns, maintenance issues, amenities that were frequently unavailable or broken, and the significant difference between what is marketed and what residents may actually receive, I cannot recommend The Edge based on our family’s experience.

Stormy and bel made my stay at edge 1120 very special. As a first generation college student, when I was hit with the stress of moving into my first apartment, these two made it very easy and help guide me through any questions and concerns I had. Edge 1120s management team should shed some light on these two for going above and beyond there position being very personable which has led me to recommend these apartments to several of my friends aswell .

RUN DO NOT LIVE HERE⚠️! This place is a complete nightmare once you actually move in. The management is beyond useless and will ignore you even in serious and dangerous situations. I was literally assaulted by my roommate and their only solution was to throw me into another unit like none of it mattered and didn’t introduce or tell me about the new roommates. Even then they somehow managed to mess THAT up too by giving me the wrong room number on the paperwork and email, so I had to move all my stuff twice completely by myself. Maintenance is a joke. They come in, pretend to fix things, leave, and absolutely nothing changes. And sometimes enter into your unit WITHOUT LETTING YOU KNOW. People also break into your unit as well .Problems stay broken for weeks while they act like everything is “resolved.” The apartments are dirty, poorly maintained, and if the previous tenant leaves behind trash or broken furniture, congratulations because now YOU are somehow responsible for it. The charges are ridiculous and make no sense. Rent can randomly jump hundreds of dollars higher because of “weather” or random fees they barely explain. Be prepared to constantly pay more than expected 200+. The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the aesthetic. It looks nice online and during tours, but living here is a completely different story. Behind the fake luxury is horrible management, stress, safety issues, and constant frustration. I genuinely cannot wait for my lease to end. Worst living experience I have ever had.

I recently toured Edge 1120 Apartments and had a great experience thanks to Ava. She was super helpful, informative, and made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. She took the time to answer all of my questions and really made sure I understood everything, which I appreciated a lot. Ava also helped ease any concerns I had about moving in and made me feel confident in my decision. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and her professionalism and friendliness definitely stood out.

Living here has been terrible for the past two years. Maintenance is absolutely terrible and is awful to deal with. We were gone for 2 weeks last summer in August and our refrigerator’s breaker was tripped because of the fridge’s wiring going bad. We had a ton of frozen meat in the freezer that all spoiled and got insanely infested with flies and maggots in the heat of summer. Upon return the apartment had a horrid smell. We were told that this is our problem and they can’t do anything. We scrubbed the fridge and tried deodorizing it but everything we put in there would end up smelling and tasting like rotten meat. The entire downstairs also smelled like this. One night I went downstairs and there was a very intense burning plastic smell. Turns out the fridge was going bad but they refused to even check it when we first raised the concern. We eventually did get a new fridge but only after it started burning. Our microwave also stopped working. We submitted a work order and they came and checked it out and said it was fine. It literally wouldn’t work. When we said it’s still not working they told us they inspected it and said it was fine. They went to check again and realized it was indeed broken. It took over a month to get a new microwave. Recently our kitchen and bathroom was flooded with poop after a storm. We had industrial sized fans running for a week straight. They also apparently lost our key for our apartment so they changed our locks without telling anyone and I got locked out of the apartment at night when none of my roommates were there. There were many other problems but these were the most frustrating. If you need maintenance, prepare to wait a month and for it to be half hearted. Also look at the recent reviews. All of the good reviews are people that only toured, they haven’t lived here.
