I'm writing this review anonymously because I live here, and I don't want to face retaliation. My goal is simply to let current and prospective residents know about my experience and encourage others to share their own honest experiences as well. My biggest concern is with one of the staff members, Chris. In my experience, he has been extremely difficult to reach. There have been multiple occasions where I've called, texted, and emailed him about important matters and received no response for days or even weeks. As a resident, it's frustrating to feel ignored when you need assistance. Communication has been one of the biggest issues. There have been times when I was told he wasn't available or wasn't on site, yet I had reason to believe otherwise. Whether that's due to poor communication or something else, it has left me feeling like residents are not a priority. It's especially frustrating because we pay thousands of dollars in rent each month and commit to yearly lease agreements. For the amount we pay, I believe residents deserve timely communication and reliable support. It shouldn't take two weeks or more to get a response from someone whose role is to assist residents. Unfortunately, the only consistent communication I've experienced has been around rent collection. When residents need help with issues that only management can address, getting a response can be extremely difficult. Even if an issue can't be resolved immediately, a simple update or acknowledgment would go a long way. Based on my conversations with other residents, I'm not the only person who feels this way. Some have expressed that they're considering sharing their own experiences publicly or choosing not to renew their leases because of the ongoing communication issues. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Residents deserve professionalism, respect, and responsive communication. Improving those areas would make a significant difference for everyone who lives here.

Great building for Fordham students with nice amenities!

This building truly has it all. Beautiful design, thoughtful furnished lay outs, great amenities including a gym, tenant lounge and outdoor spaces. most importantly though, the building feels very secure and the doorman/security guards are great. There is nothing like it in the area!

I wanted to echo the most recent review. This place is awful. At first I loved it. The front desk guys were great especially Abdul and Jermaine. Once they left, I understood why. It's a sinking ship. First of all, management is non-existent. Chris, the building manager is late to reply and is incompetent. Before I moved in, I paid on the 31st. When I asked when I could pick up my keys and move in, it took someone two days to finally answer me and I didn't receive my keys on the first. When I finally moved in, it took management almost a month to repair the heating and AC unit in my apartment. When you're paying over 3 grand a month for a one bedroom apartment in the Bronx, this is unacceptable. On two occasions he lost my rent payments and each time I had to pay the late fee because of his mistakes. He's slow to reply on repairs but once it's time to pay rent, you'll hear from him in a flash. Amenities are not included with the rent, which is fine but for an extra $50 dollars a month, the gym isn't well maintained. Sanitary wipes were emptied and not replaced for almost two months. The adjustable weights broke and the plates are all over the ground by the corner. It has been like this for over 6 months. Good luck trying to figure out how many pounds you're lifting on the cable machine because the numbered stickers fell off. In February, one of the pipes in the gym froze and it looks like they had to cut open the wall to fix it. To this day they haven't patched up that wall. Overall, I'd say for the price, you're better off renting in Manhattan. Prices are similar and Manhattan is a safer borough. Metro north is by the Fordham campus and will get you into Grand Central in about 15 minutes.
