The Carmin, tempe

My future roommate and I met with Tyler and she was amazing! She not only showed us all the amenities and rooms that the Carmin has to offer but was also so personable. Amazing experience touring with her and getting our leases signed. Beautiful property and such sweet workers!!

I have super mixed feelings about this apartment. I’ve lived here for two years and I love the front desk staff as well as the amenities, though I find it unsettling how comfortable this complex is with violating leases. I want to start off by saying that I resigned my lease after the huge flood last year where I was unable to sleep in my apartment for a few weeks due to having 7 industrial fans, so I am trying to be really fair. The first issue I had with them violating my lease was January 2025, they sent out a message one night saying they would start doing inspections the next morning, no big deal usually, but I was out of town and wanted the opportunity to put my laundry away/tidy up before, the lease also ensures 48 hours of notice. Kinda odd, but after I called them they said they’d give me the 48 hours, which I appreciated and let go. The next issue I had was the following summer, maintenance barged into my apartment unannounced and then straight into my room, accusing me of staying after my lease ended once they realized I was in there. I resigned in March or April, so I really don’t understand where that confusion came from. It made me really uncomfortable to be in my bed and pajamas with random men barging in, but again, I let it go. Most recently my kitchen sink fully fell in (5/14), it was definitely annoying, but they came up to fix it immediately, so I didn’t really care. What bothered me is that when they came the next day to caulk the sink back in they then closed the case and said they would come back the following Monday (5/18) to check the sink and turn the water back on. They just never came so I wound up turning it back on myself this past Monday. Today (5/27) I got home from work and noticed that they had been in my apartment to finally take the jack out from under the sink and remove the fans they left in my apartment. I just found this incredibly disrespectful and disappointing. This has been going on for so long that I don’t blame maintenance since I think they’re probably enabled by the apartment to act this way, but I really would not suggest living here if you value privacy.

I really enjoy the vibe at The Carmin. First of all, the leasing manager is so amazing and kind. She is a wonderful problem solver and is nonstop at getting the job done. I really enjoy the amenities here as well (golf sim, ski sim, gym, and game room). I’m also so excited for the formula 1 sim that’s coming soon. Overall I highly recommend living here as a student! You will make so many new friends and memories.

My daughter lives at The Carmin and I feel comfortable knowing she is in a safe place. I’ve been there many times and the staff is friendly and the place is always well kept. My daughter has enjoyed her time at The Carmin and plans on renewing her lease.

Property was absolutely beautiful and well kept. Shout out to the maintenance they do a very good job! Shout out to Tyler and McKenna in the leasing office absolutely sweet! Also shout out to the gentleman I completely forgot his name. Everyone in the leasing office was very kind and informative! Would definitely definitely rent from this apartment complex!
