Skywater at Tempe Town Lake, tempe

I have been meaning to leave this review for a while…. I have been living here about 2 years maybe going on 3–but I love it. My apartment was in beautiful condition when I moved in, the office staff try their very best in anything and everything they do and can provide. Some things are out of their hands but they usually go above and beyond for us tenants. They offer monthly raffles (with good prizes!), birthday celebrations, random free food days/food trucks, bingo nights, just different community events that are not required but super nice gestures to keep the community involved and in good spirits. Maintenance is quick to respond and work extremely hard- it doesn’t go unnoticed! Tenants usually keep to themselves. Peaceful community, well kept,and clean. Cleaning lady/company works super hard and do the best they can do but I’m grateful they even have them cleaning up the property. I would gladly renew my lease again if I don’t get into purchasing a home. GREAT location and VIEW. College kids don’t really party in Skywater community - maybe very very seldomly- but hey they’re college kids and we’re in the middle of college downtown basically lol no bugs but things break or go down from time to time but what else would you expect from an apartment? When those things or elevator is down they’re usually pretty quick to notify the community and get things working properly again. Their communication is beyond excellent. I am so thankful for this season of my life here at Skywater.

I’ve lived here for over three months now. It is a great place to live. I really like the management onsite. I want to give a huge shout out to the maintenance team, especially Blake, Jorge, and Jimmy. Blake and Jorge have helped us so much in our new apartment fixing things in a timely and professional manner. Jimmy is always very friendly and he does a great job maintaining the grounds; I am super impressed with his attention to detail. The people in the office, especially Hailey, and Andre, have been wonderful with me and very helpful and kind. The Physical Space: Living here has been really great. The grounds are very comfortable and clean. They have done a lot of work on the la escaping in front since I moved in. The pool and Jacuzzi are really nice and I love relaxing in them. There is a wading pool with some really cool fires at either side. There are BBQs throughout the complex so no one is really far away or too stuck together to another group. There is a cute putting green, a cornhole practice area, and even a dog run! We are super close to the river so it makes it just a short walk away to watch the sunset, take a ride, use the little paddle boats, and other fun stuff. The Tempe Arts Center is right across the street with a Starbucks and lots of fun events. There is a cute little cafe right downstairs in the apartment complex! The gym was obviously made by someone who knew what they were doing, because the machines are numerous and well balanced for a full body workout throughout the week. The coworking space / party room is really lovely, as is the lounge next to the mail room and the elegant leasing office. There are also about four fun events for residents each month, including sweets, for birthdays, bingo, and pool party. There are places to charge electric cars. Room for Improvement: RentCafe App: I feel like the RentCafe app could be used for more, since it is there and we have to check and use it anyway. I’d love it if the events and bulletin board were used more often so that it would create a more tight knit community. It would be great if there were a bike garage to safely leave bikes below instead having to bring them into the apartments. Overall, the building and management have been first-class.

I live at Skywater Apartments and have had a really great experience here so far. The community is well-kept and nice. One thing that really stands out is how easy and efficient the maintenance process is. Submitting a request is super simple, and the response time is always impressively quick. Every time I’ve needed something fixed, it’s been handled fast and done the right way. The main maintenance guy (I think his name is Terry) has helped me a few times and is always friendly, professional, and takes the time to explain what the issue was and how he fixed it, which I really appreciate. Other members of the maintenance team who have come by have also been just as kind, quick, and courteous. Overall, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with maintenance and living here in general!

I love it here! And I pretend Im on vacation everyday! This is the only lease Ive ever actually renewed, which just goes to show how much I love it. The community here is very nice and the staff is very helpful. Maintenance is very timely. Amenities are well kept, clean, and frequently used by residents. It really does feel like home here. Also, all the indoor communal spaces always smell really good, which helps play into my "Im on vacation everyday" types beat. Shout out to Terry and his team! They are incredible! Quick, diligent, and so incredibly kind! Also shout out to Andrea! He was my leasing agent when I toured Skywater and helped me with my lease. He goes above and beyond at his job and has assisted me with setting up my thermostat, changing my light bulb, and answering my questions. He as well as the other residents are great neighbors!

I’ve had a great experience so far at Skywater at Tempe Town Lake. The whole move-in process was smooth, and a big part of that was thanks to Rachael. She was extremely helpful, patient, and made all the paperwork easy to understand. You can tell she genuinely cares about the residents and takes pride in what she does. I also want to give a shoutout to Terry, the maintenance manager. My AC needed attention, and he handled it right away with no hassle. It’s a huge relief knowing that maintenance is responsive and reliable. Overall, I’m really happy with my experience here so far and appreciate the team for making everything easy and stress-free.
