Lofts on 8th, tempe

For the past two years I lived at Lofts. During my first year, I enjoyed the clean (virtually spotless) units and prompt, professional management. Following a change in management, over the last year the resident experience has significantly deteriorated. My complaints include the following: 1. Allowing a severe and ongoing stray cat infestation, leading to feces and vomit in and outside the units. The feces in turn led to a fly infestation. My roommate and I captured or killed over 50 flies in one single day. 2. Behaving in a duplicitous and unprofessional manner towards their tenants. From failing to resolve serious lease violations (including a roommate smoking in the unit) to trying to argue their way out of prior commitments, the management consistently proved their utter apathy and disregard for the health and wellness of their tenants. 3. Commensurate with the increase in pest activity in the property, the cleanliness of the grounds has taken a significant decline. In my first year the property was kept clean and sharp. However, the new management does not share the previous team's respect for the grounds and allowed trash and decomposing animal carcasses to accumulate around the property for months. Ultimately, I've chosen to give Lofts 2 stars, with all of my positive experiences coming from the first year of my tenancy. However, given the fecklessness with which the property is being tended to, continued residency at Lofts has become completely untenable. I hope ownership takes decisive action to prevent its continued deterioration and restore the property and managament to the standards owed to their residents.

I lived here for 2 years very fun experience. For the most part was pleasant staff especially with the new manager. Quite not many amenities but still worth here if you like privacy. Loved spending time on the roof top!

I love living at lofts! It’s an awesome community and Kenzie the manager is always doing giveaways and planning cool events! I highly recommend, I love having my own room and bathroom!

The units are super spacious and modern! It’s a HUGE bonus to have garage parking and garage entry! Have definitely enjoyed living here and Kenzie in the office is great! :)

I’ve had a great experience living here 😊 I love how close it is to campus, and the community is always clean and well kept. Kenzie is so sweet and always remembers my name, which truly makes the lofts feel like a little community💕
