This place is not taken care of very well. Me and two of my previous roommates had problems with other roommates bringing in large groups of unauthorized people into the apartment to live there indefinitely. When it happened to my previous roommates, Alight signed with the group to move in with one of my roommates, then when they finally got evicted, they managed to sign again and ended up with my other roommate. Some of these people had warrants for their arrest. One of them kicked my roommate’s door in, and when he called the police, some of them were arrested on warrants. Others chased him and when he called security, they did nothing. In my case, they made noise all night, slept in the living room and trashed it, smoked weed and stole my food. I notified the leasing office in person and by email and it took forever for them to even send a notice to these people. This was not allowed under the lease, but every time I went to the leasing office, they seemed to brush it off saying things like "what do you want us to do about it?" For parking, the monthly fee for residents has been raised twice since I've been here and they added gates at the exit that keep breaking. One has been broken for months with no plan to fix it. Also, there is a charge for guest parking that keeps getting raised as well, and my roommates have had their guests towed despite paying the 24 hour rate and everyone told them tough luck. Alight previously responded to this review by saying it was in the agreement, but when I signed with them the first time, the community policies, which are linked in the lease, said guest parking was “at no cost” but they changed it when I moved in. Also, the people who had this experience paid their fee like they were supposed to and reasonably believed they would actually be good for 24 hours. Also, a driver for this third party towing company they mentioned got into an altercation with my roommate as he was leaving because my roommate got mad that the tow truck was blocking the exit. The tow truck driver lashed out and almost hit my roommate’s car on purpose. Also, people have had their cars towed for no reason and were told that since it was already done, they still had to pay. That’s downright theft. That definitely wasn’t in the agreement. The utility/amenity fee has also been raised, yet they aren't taking care of their amenity equipment. When the hot tub broke, they closed the entire pool area and told me they didn't even know if maintenance was scheduled on it. And even when it was open, 2 of the gates to it were broken for months. When the grills run out of gas, I inform the office and they say they'll let someone know but nothing gets done. They handled it quickly once after I first wrote a review then went back to ignoring it for months at a time. Recently, as of June 2026, I spoke to someone in the leasing office and was given excuses and they dodged the question about why this has continued for years ever since I’ve lived here. The gym equipment is also left broken a lot. At one point, the fire pits were also broken and my roommate was told that the budget was not approved to fix them. These issues are ignored for months at a time and they seem to act like fixing this stuff is optional despite advertising it on their website. Also, the elevators are broken half the time and when they do work, they make loud grinding noises. Also, when my roommate transferred apartments, he was charged for damage the maintenance team had done to his walls.

Honestly, the apartment itself is decent, but the management and office staff are terrible. I came in 3 different times just to sign and finish everything, and every single time they kept delaying and wasting my time for no reason. It genuinely feels like they try to make you give up on moving in. When I finally told them I was ready to pay immediately and move in, they suddenly said only a 3-bedroom unit was available, even though my friend and I had already signed for a 4-bedroom. And this is the second time this has happened. We also paid the application fee, and they still kept delaying until we got frustrated. The front desk staff are actually nice and respectful, but it’s obvious they have no control over anything. During the tour, they even told us there were plenty of empty 4 bed units available, then later management suddenly claimed there were only 3-bed units left. On top of that, the administration tried to charge us fees that were supposed to be waived. I honestly do not recommend this place at all because of the management. The apartment itself is fine, but the administration is extremely unprofessional and frustrating to deal with.

Nothing but issues with the leasing office. They refused to honor my lease stating that a prepaid installment applied to my next lease and not my current one. They also tried to get me to have a guarantor after the lease was already signed by both parties and also sign an addendum that applies my prepaid installment for my current lease to my next year.

I strongly discourage anyone (especially young women) from living at this apartment complex. My experience here has been stressful, unsafe, and deeply disappointing. Safety is a major concern. My car was hit in the parking garage, and due to the lack of adequate security cameras, nothing could be done. Since then, I haven’t felt safe parking there—despite paying monthly for the space. On multiple occasions, I’ve also been threatened by homeless individuals near and even on the property, forcing me to call the police. There have been recurring homeless encampments nearby, and overall, I do not feel safe walking around the area. To make matters worse, if you forget to lock your front door people will steal stuff from your unit. Management has been inconsiderate and, at times, completely inappropriate. Despite informing them of past trauma and specifically requesting not to be placed with male roommates, they ignored my request and assigned me one anyway, creating an extremely uncomfortable and distressing living situation. Their handling of personal situations has also been unacceptable. After my totaled car was towed from the garage I pay for, I became understandably upset in the leasing office. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they contacted my college’s dean’s office without my consent, leading to an “intervention.” This felt like a serious invasion of privacy and forced me to relive traumatic experiences. Communication is poor and often inconsiderate. I intentionally avoided being present during a scheduled unit inspection due to anxiety, but management showed up a week later without warning, triggering a severe panic attack. Maintenance issues have been ongoing and poorly handled. The AC was broken for most of my lease—either making the apartment freezing (around 50°F) or unbearably hot (near 100°F). It took three months for them to fix it to a basic functioning level, and in the meantime, my plants were destroyed due to the extreme temperatures. On top of that, I’ve been charged unfair and questionable fees. I was fined $300 for having dog toys in my apartment—even though I don’t own a dog and was only storing them temporarily for an internship. My roommates and I were also charged $400 for a microwave that wasn’t broken, it just had a crack that was there before any of us moved in, likely from long-term use. Both of these charges were violations of Arizona Tenant Laws, and other alight residents have also had their tenant rights violated with charges like these. Finally, the environment is disruptive. Loud parties at 3 AM are common, and management does little to address noise complaints. Overall, this complex fails to provide a safe, respectful, or professionally managed living environment. I would not recommend living here under any circumstances unless you want to move into an inpatient psychiatric hospital when you move out.

I’ve had a really great experience living here. The workers i really enjoyed is Alana and Hayley. The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever something comes up. The property is well-maintained, and it always feels clean and safe. My apartment itself is comfortable and has everything I need, and I’ve appreciated how quiet the community is. Overall, it’s been a solid place to call home, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good apartment in the area.
