I moved into 922 Place mid-semester after getting kicked out of GLV by ASU, and honestly the timing and experience made an already stressful situation way worse. The unit wasn’t even that clean when I moved in, which is pretty frustrating considering I had no real choice but to take it. I was already juggling school and work, and instead of things stabilizing, I spent the whole semester dealing with a living environment that felt constantly off. Maintenance is slow—like, noticeably slow. Things don’t get addressed quickly, and when you’re trying to keep up with classes and a job, waiting days (or longer) for basic fixes just adds unnecessary stress. On top of that, the building itself just doesn’t feel well maintained. The gym is underwhelming, common areas aren’t great, and overall upkeep doesn’t match what you’d expect for what you’re paying. The biggest issue for me wasn’t just one thing—it was the combination. Getting forced to move mid-semester, paying a lot for school, and then landing in a place that didn’t feel clean or properly maintained made the entire semester way harder than it needed to be. It just wasn’t a good experience, and I wouldn’t choose to live here again, Hell I wouldn’t make my worse enemy live in 922!!!!

Honestly very fed up with living here, this place is too expensive for management to not have the urgency to fix anything. Maintenance has come to my apartment over the last 2 years 5 times to fix my toilet and every time they do it works for a week and then goes back to not working, so Ive gotten to the point to where I don't even bother. The trash chute has been out for several weeks now and it seems like management does not have the urgency to fix it. Hot water goes out like once a week. Be prepared to get emails at like 8pm at night saying maintenance will potentially be entering units to try to fix water, just not professionally ran at all. People are starting to leave trash bags in the hallways because the dumpster is basically off property. The hallways are starting to smell, nothing works, everything breaks, honestly would not recommend. If you need something done and go to the staff for questions or basically anything be prepared for them to know nothing. All of the staff here share one brain sell I swear. You will catch the manager here smoking cigarettes behind the AC unit out back and you will catch maintinece just standing around chatting with front desk and doing absolutely nothing when your work order has been in for weeks. Oh and when you move out make sure you do the walk through with them, during my move out I went down to do the walk through but since it was after business hours I was forced to sign the form saying they can basically charge any damages to your student account and you are unable to dispute them. Dealing with random charges on my student account for damages which they wont tell me what for. Save yourself the hassle and literally move anywhere else.

I moved into this place pretty late and the staff was able to find me an accommodation with decent enough roommates and a good apartment considering I walked in to sign a lease in the beginning of April. The prices here are very competitive with those around them. 922 doesn’t have the flashiest amenities, but what they do have gets used and is well maintained. The building is VERY clean compared to when I lived at the rise last year. The pool is a great place to relax, I just wish they had possible more room to accommodate a few lore study rooms, but other than that I have had little to no issues.

922 will look for any reason to charge you for anything. They aren't paperless with their bills so with any IMPORTANT info that you want to receive, you're SOL if you don't see any papers on your door or someone rips it off. Even after asking for emails multiple times the Accountant, still doesn't bother to email you. She's very stand-offish as a matter of fact. I would recommend not living near campus at all because there aren't apartments near campus that will give you high quality living areas and a friendly staff. They just don't care about their customers. No one days. Move off campus, find a cheaper, nicer place elsewhere. This place is garbage. Oh, and don't even worry about getting your appliances fixed, I've put in 3 orders for the same thing. Don't be dumb. You have other, better options than this dump.

Super nice and helpful staff and friendly maintenance workers. Only a short convenient 10-15 min walk to campus, clean gym, sand volleyball court and nice pool. Any issues we've had in the apartment, maintenance has been quick to fix them. Would recommend to any ASU students looking for an apartment close to campus.
