I had a really great experience here and wanted to give a shoutout to Danny for making it even better. From the moment I walked in, he was super friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. He took the time to answer any questions I had and made sure everything was smooth and stress-free. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a good experience for people, which goes a long way. The space itself is also really clean, modern, and well put together. It has a great vibe and feels very inviting, not like one of those places where you feel rushed or uncomfortable. Everything just felt organized and professional. Overall, the customer service really stood out to me. Danny made a strong impression, and that kind of energy is what brings people back. I’d definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area—you’ll be taken care of.

Living at Cove Commons has been one of the most frustrating rental experiences I’ve had. The WiFi constantly goes out. Not just once in a while, but regularly enough that you cannot rely on it for school, work, or even basic streaming. For a student housing complex, that alone is unacceptable. When you are paying premium rent, stable internet should be a given, not a gamble. The utility bills are through the roof. You are advertised one thing, then hit with absurd charges that make no sense for the size of the unit. There is zero transparency about how these costs are calculated, and when you try to get clarification, communication is either delayed or completely ignored. The appliances are cheap and poorly installed. You can tell corners were cut everywhere. Cabinets feel flimsy, finishes chip easily, and fixtures already look worn down. Things buckle, loosen, or break far sooner than they should in a newer complex. It feels like everything was built as quickly and cheaply as possible. Management nickel and dimes residents on everything. Fines are handed out aggressively and often feel excessive. Instead of working with residents, it feels like they are constantly looking for ways to charge additional fees. Communication is one of the worst parts. Emails about concerns, billing issues, or maintenance questions go unanswered or receive vague responses. When fines are involved, they are quick to send notices. When you need help, suddenly there is silence. At this point, the billing practices and lack of transparency are concerning enough that it makes you question whether legal involvement is necessary. No tenant should feel like that just to get basic answers about their living situation. If you are considering signing here, be very cautious. The marketing does not match the reality.

Good luck getting any sleep if you have work, class, or an exam the next morning. It’s impossible to study during finals or focus on school when there’s constant noise coming from the pool area. At any given time blasting speakers for hours, groups of people screaming, jumping into the pool, and hanging out late into the night. This isn’t an occasional thing it happens all the time..most of the week. When you look outside to see who’s making all the noise way past midnight, you’ll sometimes recognize people who work in the office. That should tell you how seriously the noise issue is taken. The apartments themselves are nice, but they’re not nice enough to make up for being woken up over and over again from sunset to sunrise. If you need a quiet place to study, sleep, or function like a normal adult with responsibilities, keep that in mind before signing a lease. There’s also no real overnight security. The “security guards” seem to just drive through, take a picture of the clubhouse, and leave. Considering the high crime in the area, it’s concerning that this is one of the few student apartment complexes without an actual security presence on-site throughout the night. Edit: It’s currently midnight on a Sunday night, and people are setting off fireworks at the clubhouse even though it’s not a holiday. Once again, there is no security present to stop it. I never received an email and the reality has not changed. Other student apartment communities invest in overnight security because they value their residents’ safety and quality of life. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.
