The Preserve at San Luis, tallahassee-fl

Moving out soon, but I enjoyed my time here. I never had pest issues and maintenance responded to my issues quickly. The ladies in the front office are super nice and always took care of me. The only downside was parking. Late at night, you will probably have to park far to get to your apartment. Also the walls are pretty thin, so I do hear my roommates a lot. I actually like my roommates though so it doesn't bother me much. Overall, I had a positive experience living here :)

I love living here! They are quick to fix issues and do their best to make sure that you are comfortable. Their amenities are always clean! The study room is lovely and its usually where I am, that or the gym. The gym also pretty much has everything that i need! They have events sometimes which makes living here so homey. Would definitely recommend here to anyone who wants to live with roommates!

I absolutely despised living here. My random roommate placement did not align with me at all and there are hidden fees you are unaware of until your last month of rent. This entire year I have not paid more than $850 in rent (after utilities) but in the very last month before I move out they are asking for $300 in “predicted” and “past month” utilities. This makes my rent OVER $1000 even though I have never paid nearly that much and am a struggling college student. Me and my fellow 3 roommates all are paying $300 in utilities with no warning but a week’s notice. Not to mention the facilities provided in this “community” are nowhere near up to par with payment. The pool is super outdated and the gym is no better than keeping dumbbells in your own room. Even the initial mini fridge I was given had stains and mold in it so I ended up bringing in my own. This apartment is also extremely out of the way if you attend FAMU. In high traffic it can take over 20 minutes to get to campus. There also is a HUGE bug problem! Bugs would get into our apartment no matter what. One time I found wings for the ladybug pest look alikes inside of my bathroom wall outlet. We also have dead bugs all around the front door even tho it’s never open for long periods of time. I highly do not recommend staying here as the prices you will end up paying can get you a much better and more updated apartment.

I’ve really enjoyed my time living at The Preserve Apartments! The community is peaceful, well-maintained, and has a beautiful layout that truly feels like home. The staff is always friendly, professional, and quick to respond whenever I have a question or maintenance request. The amenities are a huge plus from the clean pool area to the fitness center and walking trails, everything is kept in great condition. The location is also super convenient, close to shopping, restaurants, and major roads, but still tucked away enough to feel private and relaxing. Overall, The Preserve is a safe, comfortable, and welcoming community that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great place to live.
