Our experience at Saga Apartments was extremely disappointing. We had ongoing maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout our time there. The washer and dryer did not work properly, the dishwasher constantly had problems, and the kitchen sink would not drain correctly. The biggest concern was security. The gates were frequently left open or not functioning, and the side gates did not lock. We paid extra for gated parking specifically for added security, yet people who did not live at the complex were able to enter the property. We even encountered homeless individuals inside the gated areas, which made us feel like we were paying for a security feature that simply wasn’t being provided. The overall cleanliness of the property was also unacceptable. Trash was regularly piled up around the dumpster and throughout the surrounding parking area. The elevator frequently smelled strongly of urine, and we dealt with an ongoing roach problem. For the amount residents pay—especially the additional charge for gated parking—we expected basic maintenance, cleanliness, working appliances, and secure access to the property. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I would not recommend Saga Apartments based on the conditions we experienced.

I lived here for 2 years and unfortunately I had more issues than there should’ve been. I only resigned because I was abroad during the resigning period and I wanted to remain with my roommates. If I had known what it was like, I WOULD NOT have remained for another year. Doors were constantly broken and homeless people would come in, one time to sleep in the hallway and another time trying to open my front door, and those are just the times I saw. All of the hallways and stairwells are absolutely disgusting, one side of the first floor reeks of cigarettes and the other of weed. There was poop in stairwell 1 for months and you’ll occasionally see people “clean the halls, but it never looks and cleaner. They claim to have an amazing study room but only 2 of the computers sometimes works and the rest don’t even have keyboards in front of them and that has been the case for both years. We were also told we would receive new furniture for the past year and a half, but never received it…. It was just placed on the 1st and 5th. The management absolutely sucks, most of the girls I’ve spoken to are very rude and when I brought up concerns about a missing package I was told, “ we have a reputation of not losing them, that’s not our problem” when I just asked about the possibility of it being missing. The maintenance team is great, especially Troy, but there’s not much else great about Saga Tallahassee. I have countless more bad experiences to share, but I feel this gets the point across that if you care about basic cleanliness and safety, you should look elsewhere.

Troy is the 🐐. Whenever I put my maintenance ticket in, he was there in no time and really friendly. Saga is a great place to live in and pretty safe as well.

My unit was absolutely filthy when I moved in. Hair chunks were stuck in the washer/dryer, mineral buildup in the shower head, dirt across the entire shower grout, trash on the floor, and mystery substances across the kitchen. Each unit is meant to be professionally cleaned prior to move in. Paying outrageous prices for this disgusting place.

Homeless people break into the building all the time. We had one walk into our apartment when the door was unlocked once. Security doesnt have a gun or a taser so they had to call the cops and then the cops still couldnt do it because the guy was blasted off his mind.
