Do not live here. They do not replace the carpets or even clean the apartment when you move in. Fall 2024, I came to Redpoint. My apartment had a banged up, dirty refrigerator with food left in it and we were missing a couch. Then the couch we were given were scratched and half of the chairs were peeling. The past resident had a secret dog in their closet and the smell of dog urine was unbearable. Redpoint refused to replace my carpet and after many back-and-forths where they gaslit me and treated me as dramatic, I got two treatments on my carpet that helped. Funnily enough, I found kibble in the corner of my closet and the past resident’s mail subscription to PetSmart still delivered to my apartment. How could they tell me there was never a dog that lived there? My roommate didn’t even get her full furniture package and when she told them, Redpoint said they didn’t have any more side tables. Then, my roommate asked for a refund since her furniture package was incomplete and suddenly the office had side tables in stock. Interesting…. They will charge you fees for damages that were already there pre-move in. New management has nicer attitudes but the past year and a half living here was so terrible I’d rather live back on campus. Multiple shooting over the 1.5 years and just two weeks ago, some random man was seen on Ring trying to see if people’s doors were locked. Don’t do redpoint.

This place is terrible!!! Multiple people shot at this location!!! Upon move-out they charged us sooo many fees for ridiculous things. Regular wear and tear after two years in an old place, they charged $500 in cleaning fees for just one bedroom!!! No holes in the walls or anything!!! I love that you write a reply to look good in reviews but have spoken to the office and they will do nothing!! I even asked to go in for one afternoon to paint over the spots that we spackled (trying to do the right thing). And they will not let me in the room even though I still have to pay rent!!! The pictures are just two years of general wear and tear but I am expected to clean for new tenant apparently so you guys don’t have to!!! I would love a call from corporate or owners not office people.

I had signed a lease agreement with full expectancy to attend FSU. When I found out that I had been declined by FSU and accepted into UCF I immediately reached out to the office to see how I could get out of the lease to begin my new apartment hunt in Orlando. The office was very helpful in explaining the documentation and was very communicative when I called to learn about mutual termination and what to do next. As being, I had signed a housing agreement already and paid a deposit despite not moving in yet, but the only option was mutual termination and finding a new tenant to takeover my lease. Once I found someone the takeover was so easy! They went to tour the complex, filled out their half of the application and then all I had to do was sign a lease termination document and pay a $200 fee. Which was not bad at all! Very thankful for how friendly the office staff were despite not having many comments about the complex itself since I did not actually move in. But the office staff can be make or break for a lease and at Redpoint Tallahassee they were great!! :D

Terrible experience. Look at the ac grills full of mold. I understand why my son was always sick. AC broke down and a window unit was left for month. He had to do a lot of the maintenance over text or phone. Dryer was constantly broken. Look at the dumpster! You think they will have more dumpsters during moving out weekend. Utilities are outrageous. My son lived by himself for the summer but somehow utilizes almost tripled. I tried to call the office and something or someone kept saying “ you are charged based on usage “ which it was not right as the usage of one person can’t be more than 4 living there during the school year. You can’t talk to anyone in the office as there is an AI answering service. It is affordable but not worth the price. Run away.

The lack of communication before moving in is astonishing. Sydney was very nice to work with. She was very professional and had great customer service, even while being in the hot seat. However, the general manager, Anna, was very rude when I was finally transferred over to her for my concerns. Seems very short-tempered and snappish.
